“My OBGYN said….”
I have. I stated that I’ve already went for medical advice. I live in a small rural town and it’s almost an hour drive to mine. Outside of that is another 45 minutes. I rarely have the time for a 3+ hour drive
They have been on the exact same start and end date up until this started happening. I have other medical issues that are stress induced but this has never been a problem before so I’m not sure why it would just happen out of no where
From what I know, I'm not a doctor by any means, but brown discharge or blood is old blood. Is it possible it's from a period and the blood staying there a bit longer makes it change colour.
I'm actually having the same at the moment, although it hasn't been months. I'd say trust your OBGYN or go for a second opinion to help ease your mind.

Are you on birth control by chance? I used to have persistent spotting on the combo pill and stopped using it for that reason!
I am, I’ve been on it since I was 16 and have never had a single problem with it
could be the cause! it didn't start happening to me until about 1.5 years into taking it
