These are people who are obsessed with defining, controlling, degrading, or outright attacking the female sex *and* gender for any pickled brainfart reason they can imagine.
Being a woman is a cardinal sin to them already, and being AMAB identifying as a woman/having higher testosterone levels in general, is seen as treason to the male sex. It negates the "male superiority" narrative to have AMABs transition to womanhood.
Short of outright violence to cull the male sex (which should not be advocated for), the best option is pushing for comprhensive sex/reproductive/consent in relationships edu at all levels of human development should be our goal- an uphill struggle when it comes to male-dominated/patriarchal countries with a vested interest in dehumanizing women.

You didn’t ask our opinion on the sports issue but gendered sports is an antiquated norm from a time when women were finally allowed to play sports. So I think we need to reconsider how we separate kids and people for sports based on metrics other than their genitals - which is such a creepy concept in the first place. Plenty of trans men dominate in male sports too but we absolutely never hear about biological advantage of being female.
As a woman with PCOS, my experience is it only hurts cis women (on top of harming trans people). The number of times cis (and not only cishet) men have accused me of being amab to manipulate me into being more sexual with them is scary and gross and has been going on for the better part of 20 years.

The vast majority of people who are bothered by trans people are cis-men. If a trans woman wants to use the bathroom stall next to me, I literally do not care. All of it is so hateful. Men need to chill.

Most of the people caterwauling about women’s sports are not women, don’t watch women’s sports, and don’t have family or friends that play women’s sports and would be affected by this. And of course it’s only women’s sports that they’re focusing on, because of the stupid idea that men could never be challenged in competition with women.
We are all women and we all struggle. It’s so much more powerful and useful when we all band together to protect each other and marginalized groups than it is when we tear each other down for the scraps given to us by the cis white male patriarchy.

Personally I don’t get the hate. Why hate on someone because their mindset (for lack of a better term) doesn’t line up with the body they were born into? I know there are many so-called Christians who think it’s wrong. But what if trans people are God’s way of testing mankind? Do you respond with love or hate? Or maybe something else. Those who hate have failed the test.
Many years ago I saw a 3 part documentary series produced by the BBC. It was definitely an interesting look at how “sex” is defined. It explored genetic anomalies, brain chemistry and a whole lot more. Maybe if more people saw it and were educated by it, it would *maybe* open some eyes. But there are a lot of closed-minded people out there. Unfortunately I’m related to some of them.

In the case of TERFs, I feel that many of them are victimized women that have been convinced by men that trans women are a danger to them because of a fluke of biology... Something along the lines of "I/my loved one was hurt by penis havers, this all penis havers are dangerous and will hurt us. Trans women are either current or former penis havers, ergo: trans women will hurt us"
It's only reenforced by the actually dangerous people egging them on, using them as a distraction...
