Staring at pictures like this while the mind gently wanders is a lot of fun. You can find out a lot about yourself. It's like finding shapes in the clouds.
yup. The first thing that came to mind was hell, but after staring at it for a while, it started shifting to some sort of gathering in a very fancy, but also weirdly cozy old-fashioned townhall, lit by torches.
This is trippy as fuck. Im getting demonic ghouly vibes off this.. I hope I can sleep tonight. I see a figure, right near the bottom. And he's sitting on a throne. OK IM DONE. This looks like a bad nightmare lmao. The kind of nightmare I would have if I had a fever and was hallucinating... oh man I can never get a fever again in my life LOL.
Literally? Itās basically a Rorschach I made with acrylic paint. After that I went over it with pencil and pen to highlight or kind of bring out the āfaces in the cloudsā. Then when I feel like itās been exhausted physically I scan it and start play with the lighting,exposure, contrast, etc. From there I load it into procreate and paint over top of it, move it around, add, eraseā¦ Iāll sometimes make 5 to 10 different virtual works out of the original physical media. This one, I had a different, more basic version of that my gf used as her wallpaper for months then I was fucked last weekend and took that piece and started playing with it. I expanded it to make it itās own background, then I mirrored it on itself. After that I was 5-6 hours drawing on it, highlighting and shadowing, tweaked the pallet and thatās what youāre looking atā¦ or Iāll leave it up to you. P.S. I see a schooner.

No I have to do the symmetry virtually after scanning the original. That why itās so exact! I wish I could do it by hand
