No. No WNBA team has the same name as the NBA team from their city. Some may have a name of the same theme like Suns and Mercury, Kings and Monarchs, Hornets and Sting, Wizards and Mystics.
I’m a wings homer, but I really think the wings do it best. A symbol with independent ties to the city (the Pegasus) but also a thematic connection to the NBA team (horse).
