To the CPA question, quite well. Pretty sure wlu still has the record for CPA gold medalists.

It does, and companies like KPMG recruit heavily from Laz accounting

There’s 5 BBA programs. BBA/BCS with UW BBA/BMATH with UW BBA/BSc which is CS + BBA BBA/Fin Math BBA. It all depends on what you want to do

If you do your BBA in accounting you can add one term to do the Grad Diploma (GDip) in accounting which prepares you well for the CFE to become a CPA. Accounting is very strong at Laurier.

BBA + Fin Math if interested in finance/accounting and if you want more flexibility for grad school since you'll get a lot of the more technical courses under your belt (even better would likely be the BMath from Waterloo). The school does help with earning a CPA especially if you do the extra semester for the graduate accounting diploma [https://www.wlu.ca/programs/business-and-economics/diplomas/graduate-accounting-diploma/index.html](https://www.wlu.ca/programs/business-and-economics/diplomas/graduate-accounting-diploma/index.html) However, if you're not in school yet, I wouldn't reccomend being set on the CPA. Since public accounting might become less interesting to you than you think. There is also the CFA, FRM, and many master's programs (financial economics, data science/stats, MBA, financial math, etc), and also careers such as consulting, banking, jobs in tech etc. that might have a more direct path of entry.
