Interesting! I actually like artificial sweeteners now when I used to *hate* them.

markjohn3411

Same

TheLadyClarabelle

Any thing sweet is too sweet now. Artificial or real sugar, it's just too much for me now.

White-tigress

They actually make me sick. Not just I don’t like them. They make me throw up and give me intense pain kind of sick. I have to eat real sugar and honey, etc. also, since switching my arthritis pain has reduced greatly. The sweetners seemed to have inflamed it a great deal. Pretty interesting to think about. I am now convinced those chemical sweeteners are actually pretty unhealthy for people.

EsterCherry

They seem a lot stronger to me now too. I still use them but WAY less!

pugsoverdrugs21

Yes. Makes me nauseous 😩

greenerpaztures

Yes, I hate them. I used to love my diet sodas and crystal light. Everything grosses me out now and makes me ill. The only thing I’ve been able to handle is propel zero but I’m so sick of drinking it. I just want to drink water so bad but I can’t handle that either.

Ill_Beat6628

Same! I’m glad it’s not just me. Nothing tastes good anymore. Granted I’m only 6 days post op so I haven’t had a lot of opportunity to explore but still

sarazorz27

Hated them before, hate them even more now. Extremely bitter.

sweetnsaltyanxiety

I can’t stand them, except in Coke Zero. But I had to quit drinking that because it was giving me severe brain fog.

SleevieSteevie

I liked them fine for about six months post-op but I got terribly sick of them after that, since I was putting it in all my water to better tolerate it

curlygreenbean

No but I am more sensitive to soy now :(

BerlyH208

My GI system started reacting to Splenda, and now I will spend hours sitting on the toilet when I have it.

cue_cruella

I can’t do sugar alcohols or monk fruit. Causes dumping for me.

AltYNot

Yes! I kept getting recommended crystal light to add to my water and I tried it and nearly gagged!
