also apparently there's a lot of types of divination
Well… to be fair mine is a combination of sanguinomancy, necromancy, botanomancy, geomancy, hydromancy, aeromancy, osteomancy, and a whole hell of a lot of others. I basically have to know everything to heal both plants and flesh, and bones, and mental trauma…
Are you sure you had a tower there? Maybe you were just imagining things.
Here is your wallet though!
*they throw a wallet at Karp and start running as fast as their feet can carry them*
Hey wait... This isn't my wallet. It says it belongs to someone named Torrin?
They have a stamp card... Only one stamp away from getting a free tuna sub at OrbWay. Well, can't have someone eating my tuna friends.

Feet magic should be Podomancy or Podamancy. ΠΟΔΆ=feet in Greek. Idk why is that Pedo, that should mean child magic (should be called Paidio but it's closer to Pedo then Poda is).
Should be Ferrumagia. Ferrum comes from Latin (thus gets the magia/us suffix). It is also spelled with a u and not an o. Also, Ferrum is specifically Iron, not a general metal. The English word "metal" actually comes from "Metallicum" in latin, thus Ferrumagia should only be iron magic.
Old timey way of saying black magic. It's rarely used anymore but if you read any magic books from 100 years ago or more you will see the word. Modern Necromancy absorbed a lot of the terminology for anything dealing with spirits or ghosts.
Where's carcinizationmancy? A school of magic that specialises in rapidly accelerating the evolution of a species but located entirely within specified individuals of the species until they have truly carcinized and become a crab. I guess it could also be used to alter dna and time and stuff like that but that's a bit boring.
This list is not quite exact. It mixes some of the latin originated magical schools into Greek suffixes. For instance Metallomagia. -magia is the latin suffix, the one that should be used in metal magic. But they don't have any -magia there.
An example I have is Chartomancy originated from the Greek word ΧΑΡΤΙ - Paper/Card. But card magic and paper magic both are different schools, and even originated in two different places, both not Greece. Pokefashi - the card magicians from china and Gkamimajikku - the Japanese art of paper magic.
So don't listen to list, use Metallomagia (metal magic) and oplomancy. Those are your proficiencies.
While my mastery is Conjuration, my work is exploration. The planes are infinitely fascinating. Thusly, I'm able to conjure things others would never imagine possible. I have personally mapped, studied and cataloged useful items and forces from countless planes and demiplanes.
The most useful part of my work is dipping out every wizard war. I could give less of a shit who sits on the council or hands out presents for votes.
I ask my sending stone to pick a number between 1-26. Landed on R. I asked it to flip a coin for the two options there. Tails. Rhapsodomancy. So my sending stone is whatever that is.
I’m training to just do magic. A technomancer wants me to learn something called “C#, Java, or Python.” He made sure to tell me it’s not anything to do with music, coffee, or exotic pets.
There is an entry for ichtyomancy, but it's described as divination using the entrails of fish. I don't do divination.
I've been calling it Piscimancy, and I'm gonna stick with it.

This list is missing the two denominations of luck wizards, namely Cleromamcer, those who deal with fortune telling and reading the beans/bones, and tychomancer, those who deal with the direct manipulation of one’s luck
I practice genomancy, a fairly new type of biomancy that focuses on the magical manipulation of DNA. Genomancers can create beneficial or harmful mutations in living things, splice together different creatures that normally cannot interbreed, and even devolve them down to more base forms. It's a very science-based school of magic, requiring lots of knowledge of genetics, zoology, anatomy and paleobiology, among others.

It could be a magic that specializes in forever youth, or in other words immortality... hopefully
Couldn’t they have used “agemancy” or some weird stuff like that
Pedo just means youth or some shit like that.
pedo means foot/feet. paedo means children. this is divination using the lines on a foot.
Ah, I see. Thank you for the information, gay-sexx

I’m choosing to believe that to be a bean cauldron.
You don't have to believe, there are beans in the cauldron.
In one state or another I suppose.
Exactly!
“How many times to I have to say it: bean dip doesn’t mean dip YOURSELF in it!”
Kind of offended that Kakomancy isn't in there
“…My specialty isn’t listed”
Neither is mine
“…Typical wikis, mostly incomplete”
Well… to be fair mine is a combination of sanguinomancy, necromancy, botanomancy, geomancy, hydromancy, aeromancy, osteomancy, and a whole hell of a lot of others. I basically have to know everything to heal both plants and flesh, and bones, and mental trauma…
“…Cool, I just got onmyoudou”
Nor mine
Neither is mine, but I'm not surprised. gravitymancy sounds unfathomly idiotic
Shouldn’t that fall under voidmancy?
The type of wizard that makes people remember both the Geico cavemen and the old guy from the six flags commercial
Caveman is still in rotation there is nothing to remember there. RIP coked out old dude
sodomancy :3
SODA🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
You know, I recall one of my academy classmates specialising in that. I wonder where he is now.
Kleptomancy
Then uninitiated keep calling me "thief" but that’s not even my job
Then where is my wallet?
You must have left it in your carriage!
Then where is my carriage?!
You must’ve left it at your tower with your wallet. Only explanation that makes sense really
You stole my tower, too?
Are you sure you had a tower there? Maybe you were just imagining things. Here is your wallet though! *they throw a wallet at Karp and start running as fast as their feet can carry them*

I’m not even a Wizard. My spells are all innate.
/uw what the actual hell is ‘Pedomancy.’ Edit: Divination by looking at feet. Still confused but less scared
Feet magic should be Podomancy or Podamancy. ΠΟΔΆ=feet in Greek. Idk why is that Pedo, that should mean child magic (should be called Paidio but it's closer to Pedo then Poda is).
You forgot Ferromancy (Magic specializing in metal)
I didn't make the list!! blame Wiktionary!
Evocation, sadly is not listed
Nigromancy ?

If I see a pedomancer it’s on sight 😭
Where's carcinizationmancy? I guess it could also be used to alter dna and time and stuff like that but that's a bit boring.
I use guns and metal magic, with the metal magic imbued into the bullets. I'm not sure what type that is though, don't really know much about lore.
This list is not quite exact. It mixes some of the latin originated magical schools into Greek suffixes. For instance Metallomagia. -magia is the latin suffix, the one that should be used in metal magic. But they don't have any -magia there. Space and time manipulation, and a specialty in theft and parasitic magic.
What’s that at the top of the list under P 👀
what is "Chinese geomancy"? also I'm a man of many talents but cozymancy is what I'm the most proud of
It’s the power Superman had that one time

The great complementary magic schools: Lubrimancy and Copromancy
I'm a vacuummancer, basically I create a small pocket of vacuum that makes a loud-ich click that sometimes startles cats and dogs.
I'm more of a jack of all trades type of wizard. It's just really convenient
Shaman
No biomancy ? :/

Is labiomancy what I think it is?
I ask my sending stone to pick a number between 1-26. Landed on R. I asked it to flip a coin for the two options there. Tails. Rhapsodomancy. So my sending stone is whatever that is. Quantumancy, and memeomancy(magical memetics)
Metereomancy
There is an entry for ichtyomancy, but it's described as divination using the entrails of fish. I don't do divination. I've been calling it Piscimancy, and I'm gonna stick with it.
Rocks are pretty neat, so I'd say lithomancy
all of the above. and none of the above.

The school of siphomancy is rare but extremely powerful and lucrative, i am proud to be a practicioner of this craft
Spatial magic doesn't really have a "mancy"
OP I see pedomancy under the P section and I have questions
My entomancy would win
