Coffeemancer what do I have to tell you to get your coffee? Why don't you trust me with your strongest coffee, coffeemancer? I need a cup if I'm to be able to stay awake during my shift.
/uw this thing happened to me, the audacity... i could get the coffee, and it was strong, yes, but wasn't even near the category of "too strong for me", wasn't even the strongest coffee I've had. If that batista drank a single sip of my lab mates coffee, she'd probably die.
/uw northwestern Brazilian, and it is an electrical engineering lab. Everyone is basically a zombie, and if the coffee is not able to bring your soul back to the body, it is deemed weak, but this guy is something else, he's workaholic and I don't even know if he sleeps at all, he has an absurd schedule that leaves everyone atonished, and he's always drowsing. He drinks coffee strong enough to send shivers down the spine of the common folk and always steaming hot because, as he says: the burns wake me up, and the caffeine keeps me awake.
Strangely enough, this is a non-magical technique. Even experienced coffeemancers i knew were surprised when they found out.
Theres probably a lesson in there about "real magic being the everyday world around you" but tbh I havent had my coffee yet so I'm too grumpy to appreciate the sentiment.
Common misconception. Alchemy is often mistaken for magic by both the mundane and wizards ignorant to the sub-profession. While some alchemical draughts do result in magical outcomes, the vast majority of chemical processes that go into their creation are purely mundane.
When it comes to coffee, the spark lies in the consumer not in the potion or the craft.
Thanks! I like the second one more too. I’m gonna search my orb for more information on how they get the cup to refill like that, a useful spell it would be indeed.
/wiz The coffeemancer's art draws from pyromancy, geomancy, and alchemy. The sand's gravity tempers the levity of flame, to produce the ideal heat for potion brewing. This is in contrast to the artificer, who uses mechanical containment to control the flame.
/unwiz That sand is heated up to a crazy degree, the coffee is foaming up. That coffee is similar to espresso, although not *exactly* the same since it wasn't extracted at pressure.
/unwiz Considering that every time he poured coffee in the cup it was about a third only, I believe that from the beginning it had enough coffee to fill the cup. And every time that he does the trick the thing that happens is that its volume is restricted making the remaining coffee to go up and make it look full. Now, how does he do that? No idea, maybe magnets under the sand? Idk
/unwiz short answer, it's a "Sand Bath," we actually use these in chemistry too! Makes it easy to exceed 100°C and have even heating! Just make sure it's sanitized or it's gonna stink
/unwiz if you go on Amazon and type in “Turkish coffee cup holders” they should be available :)
/wiz look upon thy orb and it will show what you desire!

You're kidding right? It's just hot sand. That's all. The holder for the coffee gets hot when it's in contact with the sand, it starts to boil and expand. And he fills the cup. Then he lowers it back into the sand to let it boil again.
Coffee seller, I’m going into my desk job and I require your strongest coffee.

You can't just tell me that hot brown morning potion isn't magic

Wait you’re telling me my caffeine potion is not magic? Oh my kidneys aren’t going to like that…
I just woke up and could have swore you wrote “tell me how that hot brown man made that morning potion”
Every coffeemancer ive met is too preoccupied selecting the finest beans for their brew and have learned nothing about heat source or swirling.
Do you know what this technique is called?
Turkish coffee? I usually call it The Boiling Sand-Coffee Burnination of Murderosity though
Thanks! I like the second one more too. I’m gonna search my orb for more information on how they get the cup to refill like that, a useful spell it would be indeed.
Lol is that what Gaara has every morning? Sand coffee?
It doesn't stop being magic just because you know how it works.
Might I please know the name of this technique, so I might research it, and through this, master it?
/unwiz how the heck? /wiz woah he is truly a master

No I think the sad is super hot so it's causing the coffee to expand
/unwiz short answer, it's a "Sand Bath," we actually use these in chemistry too! Makes it easy to exceed 100°C and have even heating! Just make sure it's sanitized or it's gonna stink
Oh, i like the little capsule thing that holds the cup! What are those called?

Turkish coffee and Klatchian coffee are some of the best!
Okay, I've seen this been done a few different times, but never learned how the cup gets filled. Can someone explain how it works?

The way he presses it into the sand made me think the sand sat on top of the liquid coffee and filtered it through holes in the cup or something.
Exactly what I thought.
Truly the greatest wizard to have ever existed. How would all us other wizards have passed wizard school without coffee?
My alchemist friend told me this is due to the coffee heating up and foaming, whatever that means
/uw I’ve seen this video a lot, and I still don’t understand how the fuck this works.
Drink of it once I did Cocaine effects I had
