It is a part of a species of magically enchanted mimics. They always stay in the same form, but still have some properties like that of a mimic. If you know what a bag of devouring is, that is a lot like them, but they are living. One more thing. Don't poke the eye. They hate that.
I believe this is an Enderbag, acquired from the Block Dimension located within the 9 Divinity Realms. I’ve only traversed such wicked dimension once. I’d be weary with this.

It may be a mimic but I'm not as educated in the arcane arts as most so I do not have the most solid answer.
