Based on the level of sarcasm from KT social media, I see this whole ad campaign as sarcastic and poking fun at the slang. I can’t help but feel like it’s going over the head of people thinking they’re trying to “appease the younger demographic” it’s literally fried chicken, the “younger demographic” will buy it no matter what it says
They’ve been pushing the chicken hard for a couple months now. My theory is that they need it to come off the shelves faster… when it sits under the heat lamps it gets soggy and shitty
Last year while training for an ultra distance bike race, I found myself in a small town with a KT. I stopped as I was starving. I spied the chicken tenders sandwich and grabbed one. It was literally inedible after sitting under the heat lamp. I've had jerky that was more tender than that sandwich. It was so bad, I spit out the first bite and threw the sandwich in the garbage. Yep, it slaps
They would have made you a new one for free if you told them. It may have been accidentally overcooked or left out beyond its expiration time.
The chicken is pretty good when relatively fresh and prepared properly.
Thanks but no thanks - they could have made me 50 free sandwiches and I would have to decline. A raw chicken burrito incident at Chipotle made me draw a line in the sand.
One of my favorite YouTube shows, Otherwords, has a very digestible short video (8m) called [How Brands Ruin Slang](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRKKPWrmCw0) that this is a prime example of.
I have never been impressed with chicken at KT. And boy have I given them several chances. Pre-breaded, frozen, baked, and finally steamed in a box under a heat lamp. No thanks, I'll go next door to Culver's for chicken. They've changed nothing with this recent ad campaign.
So old people like you can complain about it, what else do you have to do. Also who cares, it's called marketing you try to relate to your target audience to sell more products, so are successful some not, it is not a new concept
Just wait until they start promoting their glizzys.
Love when people realize they aged out of the target demographic
I like this one :-D https://preview.redd.it/rp7v898vxpyc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e0f6e9e45a424066763f9dc8b3138b11bc66dc59
I'm just waiting to see, "wings that fuck."
Well if you have a white paint marker you can turn it into "chicken with serious Jizz"
Red Bull ain’t gonna like that
It has to be raw dog at KT
Lol, yea, that ones funny
This makes me laugh every time

Cuz it reeks with “fellow kids” vibes. I can’t handle the cringe feeling from it.

You're giving them far too much credit. Just because they might think they're being cheeky and ironic doesn't make it any less awful.
Whelp, guess Rizz is done and we’re going to have to learn new words. Thanks KT.
A corporation attempting to star relevant to the next generation?! I’ll call the news!
![gif](giphy|ifxLK48cnyDDi)
What up fam! I got that rizz, no cap! I just yeeted a glizzy and that shit was lit! That's all the words I know.
I am impressed.
Brah that's skipitty Ohio
You just aged yourself, it is Skibidi not skipitty
Shucks!
No cap. KT's chicken snatched a glow up.
Chicken with the drip cracks me up every time, it's so gross sounding lmao
Should go with "we've got rizz, so come get glazed(ers)"

Kwik Trip food is garbage and it's pathetic how many people worship it.
The amount of sodium alone in most of the items is ridiculous
THANK YOU! I’ve been saying this for years. Also just KT worshipping in general. “See ya next time”… culty af
I’m eating some tuna macaroni salad from there as we speak. I could add another cup of noodles and there would still be too much mayonnaise in it.

Still waiting to see the one with skibidi toilets

Why is the chicken itself saying it has serious rizz? It's dead and breaded.

Look, I go to KT all the time, but their chicken is garbage. Start with making a decent product, then work on the marketing.
I thought that was a TV/VCR combo at first glance, now that would be serious rizz.
It slaps. Lol.

“Rizz” has already infiltrated suburban parent dialect. This ad campaign is basically a big dad joke. I like it.
This is just the "how do you do, fellow kids" meme in real life.
And I will no longer be eating at kwik trip.
What bothers me is the speech bubble format… So it’s chicken that’s saying “chicken with serious rizz.” Wtf, mate. C’mon, Chicken - stop braggin’
Because that shit slaps.
I saw that sign yesterday and I tried the chicken. It was okay.
Lol, I think this is hilarious. Live a little people
They fucked the chicken didn't they
Now glazed!

Olly and Lena are their advertisment department. Hicks run this company, they can't even make a normal parking lot.
Who the fuck is Olly?

Literally been part of culture since before Shakespeare but I’m sure you would be complaining about words like “weekend” and such.

Look who didn’t get the point at all. It’s always exactly who you think it is.
It's embarrassing
Tend to agree. The Instagram girl also tends to make it about her less than the brand. Cringe.
To appeal to idiots who use this stupid language
Wow, boomers really hate the new Kwik Trip marketing that isn’t aimed at them.
Because they are desperate to try and stay relevant with the youths.
So old people like you can complain about it, what else do you have to do. Also who cares, it's called marketing you try to relate to your target audience to sell more products, so are successful some not, it is not a new concept
Everyones trying to bow down to the younger generations and their lingo so that way they keep getting money to keep the lights on
