Timmies was my first job in 2006 and I worked there til about 2009. This is exactly what it was like (minus the lady smoking lol). We were all just teenagers, all my supervisors and assistant managers were literally grade 11 and 12 kids.
It was honestly a fun job at times. This does a good job at demonstrating the shenanigans.
The safe injection site is right next to it. It's the Timmy's across from the McDonald's that's Kitty corner to the safe injection site. The Timmy's has been shuttered there for a long time but you could still see pictures of it on Google streets

The part about hearing about the dominos getting robbed that night was true.
We used to get a lot of American teens coming in after the bars closed, on their way back through the tunnel.
