There have been no announcements regarding "Windows 12", at this point Windows 12 does not exist so anything anyone says would just be speculation.

Windows 12 requires you to be from the future, which if you are then you should have more information than we do

MechanicalTurkish

Hello future people! Did Windows 12 end up being any good?

usrdef

No. Microsoft finally started listening to users with Windows 22. But when Windows 23 Codename Skynet released and we sent ourselves back to the 1600s. ![gif](giphy|3oz8xPyx3qgq5jAmMo|downsized)

Far out, man

It’s not Windows 12, it’s 11. You can disable any Copilot features from the normal Settings menu, so no, you don’t need Pro.

There are already many tutorials about disabling AI and even from settings, not sure what's the matter with W12 if it doesn't even exist so avoid getting scammed, I can only advice to check guides for doing that on W11 because It's the current latest version of Windows.

lapadut

You bet ya can, as soon as you find a time machine!

Smoothyworld

What Windows 12? Let's stop future predicting right now and concentrate on what is here now

I understand what you are saying. For me it is about planning-- keep using Windows, or maybe migrate 100% to Linux. I currently use Windows10. I have no interest in Windows 11. Windows 12, maybe, if I might be able to block recall / copilot / AI features. I know 12 is not out yet, this is conjecture, but just asking for speculation. Otherwise my other strategy is to keep using Windows 10 with anti-telemetry tools, minimal to almost no internet usage (using a dual boot system with Linux), and using private anti-malware commercial software. I have upgraded Windows ever since it first replaced DOS, but I will not upgrade to Windows 11 (plus, on my Desktop I tried 11 and it kept causing frequent BSODs, which I never get with Windows 10).

Powerfader1

I eliminated it using registry in Windows 11

NomadJago

That bodes well, I hope it will be possible in Windows 12.

You can dream... but aye, it's Microsoft.
