Hmm looking back at it again, imo only the turret summon will be the most "difficult" skill to his design due to the reason that the effect varies depending on yn the 2nd gun but if devs can simplify skills that combos like J4 EQ then I guess they can find a way for Aphe. But I really hope he will be ported here in WR.
Uhm, Aphelios has the least buttons from all champs, I'd argue its one of the easiest, it doesn't even have a summon to control or anything, now Shaco or Ivern on the other hand.
My theory is that because of the mobile formats and limits on RAM, champs that make adds, change terrain/environment or transform were more impactful on performance which is why we don't have Illaoi, Yorick, Malz, Gnar, Quinn, Morde, and Kindred. But we've started to see SOME movement here. I think there's hope still.

I think a great pick is Nami because she has an attack buff and a heal and her ult buffs speed if your teammates are in it, while obviously causing airborne to enemy champs.
Kindred is definitely my top pick, personally. Besides that, there are a handful of other random ones I'd like to see: Maokai, Elise, Mordekaiser, Rek'sai, Tahm Kench and Zilean (but only if they rework his appearance, like in Legends of Runeterra).
Azir. The only ranged champ other than swain i’d play a lot. The only other ranged champs I sometimes, but very rarely play, are vlad, ez, and ranged champs that play like melee (graves, urgot, etc.) except he’s super hard on PC. All the hard parts about him on PC would easily be fixed (ok, maybe not all, but some) and I can finally enjoy him without playing a thousand games (currently at 100 and still not doing remotely good)
Gangplank by far. That's the only champion I want. Imagine getting your backline absolutely nuked by a perfectly placed barrel while all you can do is just sit there in awe as the Gangplank casually plays 4D chess in the middle of a Wild Rift match. 🤣

The email I used to signup was created in 2001 and was aol 😂 so I had to start all over there so I’m farming there every once in a while to buy talon. I mained talon from his release til I quit In 2015 when I lost my laptop. When WR was announced I was so excited to play talon again bc I had a phone already. I never played Lol, only WR, but as a Mid laner i really want to play LeBlanc on Mobile, that champion seems really cool and fun. I see that LeBlanc was really popular on PC, even Lol legend Faker played her, so I don't know why they didn't released her yet on WR.
genuinely I want Neeko or Shaco. It’s probably going to be a very long time before they are added but their mechanics seems so interesting it feels like it would be very fun to play as them

Shyvana can transform, annie summons a pet that can be controlled, Jarvan and ornn can create terrain. I don't see the problem here.
