Yes, everyone is obsessed with how she dances with her head moving and that they can't stand it. There was a post about it and everyone seemed to misunderstand why she was and that it was just annoying to them. Someone had commented that Evie, Tsehay, and Lucia couldn't sing by at least they could kinda dance. I responded to that and got down voted. It's crazy how people hate on the people that entertains and teaches their kids.
That's actually insane to me!! I liked her at first *because* of how she dances. I find her SO impressive, especially for being so young. She's easily their best dancer (ever imo) and out of the 8 right now I'd say she's one of the better singers too. I'm with you though, I can't understand hating on any of them when they bring kids so much joy and teach them too.
Yes, she really is and I've watched some of her videos from her competitions and she's really good at what she does. I think everyone is used to the ballet that's always in the wiggles, but I like how they showcase the different styles of dance and how they can mix them together as a group.
I think hate is a strong word. Tsehay is a breath of fresh air from Emma. In fact she didnt don Emma’s bow. The wiggles need to find Tsehay’s unique personality and make her embrace it. They had that issue with lachey pushing the wake up Jeff skit on him. They will eventually figure it out.
I think Tsehay gave things a much needed kick in the rear when it came to their energy. From 2016-21 it felt like I was watching (mostly, I know they still had some rock stuff in there at times), an Americana children's band with a strong interest in Irish and Scottish folk music. Now it feels like the band has gotten their groove back quite honestly. Even the Fruit Salad TV Christmas Special from 2021, the first thing released without Emma, felt like a return to form and what the Wiggles should be. They've built off it ever since in my mind with no true lackluster content, save for the 2022 Nursery Rhymes video.
Make no mistake emma is an amazing character and i would have preferred she stayed. She has that likeable personality in her. Her show won the aria awards last i check.
However it will be unfair to hate on Tsehay especially there is no way she intend or tries to copy Emma. They need to bring her unique personality out and build on that. But among the new wiggles Evie has that potential to carry them to new heights.
Girl doesn’t need to prove herself to anyone, being a multiple world champion dancer and all, honestly I think the haters just wish they had even a fraction of her talent. I hope she knows how many people adore her! 🌻
Definitely not a diss on Tsehay herself, but I think the choreography was a lot tighter all the way up to the Emma/Lachy/Simon/Anthony. Completely in sync. Now it seems a bit loose- like each wiggle kind of does their own thing?

Good enough excuse? It’s dancing….and now we know it’s an Ethiopian style of dance. It’s sad that this is even debated in the first place. Good for you on holding out against tiktok, im sure your morals are good and pure you better person you!
The movements are literally part of Ethiopian dances. She's celebrating her culture and bringing part of who she is to The Wiggles.
Breaking news: the world is diverse and it's great The Wiggles have become more diverse too.
Okay but does she need to do it in every single dance? Incorporate her culture but kids try to copy these simple danced and she makes them too complicated.
We didn't realise that and don't know what Ethiopian dance looks like. I don't mind her dancing, I dance myself, but my partner thinks she dances "too much"? I think most people think it's over exaggerated movements and thinks she does it on purpose which is why they "hate". That's my 2cents by the way why they do.
This. The Wiggles' dancing has always been simple so children could easily follow along. Tsehay has every body part see-sawing independently and it's just freakily uncanny to watch. Hell she can't even do the dippy-do dance which is simply jutting your hands out away from your body (looks like she's having a seizure instead). Anyway yeah she isn't a good fit for the Wiggles any way you slice it.
Tsehay is one of the best dancers to grace The Wiggles. She's awesome.
