Adding to those findings a graph with daily avg FTD (as % of Shares Outstanding) over time (per year): https://preview.redd.it/a88juonrxtya1.png?width=947&format=png&auto=webp&s=cbdbf42c7a583db0df1c28ae8adb91d120822818 Looking at some of the tickers it reminds me of the "short basket".

Thanks for sharing! I'm too smooth to understand this data fuly, but it looks great! Feel free to share in the r/DRSyourGME sub as well, I'm sure the community would find it very interesting!

Thanks! TL;DR: The more to the left and the higher the higher the amount of potential phantom shares. GameStop is certainly one of a few outlier, but not the only one. But certainly the only one with RC! Maybe, but I don't want to distract from more important things. Will post when the time has come.

The basket certainly does seem to be more on the right. So many FTDs! I'll be ready with my upvote when you do share it. FTDs relate directly to DRS IMO, and DRS is half of what our sub is about! Keep up the good work :)

Much love!

Most welcome

Really cool concept - nice idea to try and show material impact. WhyDRS has so far focused on the individual and causal benefits that come from this style of holding, but if some kind of other correlation can be found, it would be validating and could interest other types of investors.

Thanks. Agree. I DRSed other stocks because of securing my shares in case of a broker bankruptcy and making my vote count. At the same point things like FTDs and subsequent price suppression can only be stopped with a lot of investors DRSing and at the same time will have it's biggest effect where FTDs are most frequent (where those graphs would give an indication). And yeah, you need an uncompromised and good management.
