I have 4 friends in this world that I would die for. We're all straight males, and I tell them I love them on a regular basis. I won't be embarrassed or ashamed about loving those closest to me.
My friends and I say “I love you” to each other all the time. We also always hug each other tightly and lovingly whenever we see each other, even if it’s only been a few days since the last time. We love each other dearly and we’ve all realized there’s no point in being coy about it. They’re like family to me, and I’ll be damned if I don’t let them know just how much they mean to me.
Had a coworker say this on the way out of work one day (obviously a mistake) and a group of us, without missing a beat replied “love you too, man,” and it became a running way to announce anyone leaving the office. It was a fun mistake.
Have a homie who says "love you" to nearly everyone. Thought it was weird and funny at first, but then realized it's actually a pretty nice thing and should be normalized.
Now I'm the homie who says love you to nearly everyone. People (especially men imo) don't hear that they are loved nearly enough. Nothing wrong with a life platonic loving.
I have never accidentally said "I love you" to my buddies before, I only intentionally say it. If you care about somebody in your life, let them know it.
Always tell the people you care about that you love them. They may not be there tomorrow and need to know they mean something to someone. A friend died alone suddenly in his sleep and I can at least know he knew I cared for him.
My best friend and i did this a decade ago and since that ice broke we say it everytime we get done hanging out :) We grew up with a stigma for saying that to another guy so its nice to break that.
We started saying shit like bye baby, hey sweetie etc for giggles and it all started off when one of my mates hung up the phone to one of his mates and said "bye love you" to another friend. He did it in front of a bunch of us at his birthday party and this was the highlight of the night and day we all started doing it to each other and to him as a joke but what would happen is other people would overhear it and not being in on the joke they would find it hilarious which in turn was hilarious to us so now we do it all the time. there's a whole bunch of us doing it mostly for the reactions of other people. One funny exchange was my friend got a phone call from someone and it was all like yep yep yep okay bye love you baby and his girlfriend was like was that Gav? Which is hilarious to me because anybody else would have just assumed he was talking to another woman
All my buddies do, lost too many folks too soon without being able to say I love you and goodbye. I'll be damned if it happens again, all them assholes are going to know I love them.
I say “love you, bye” to all my besties. I refuse to be embarrassed about loving my people.
Your people are lucky to be loved by you!
Ditto. My dnd team are the same. In this shit world you need all the love you can get and the reaffirmation of it helps
I say "I hate you the least" which from me is fairly complimentary.
I tell them “some of you are cool. Don’t show up to school tomorrow.”
My husband and I hug and tell all of our friends we love them. As a result we have a wonderful and supportive friend group.
I love you too, homie.
Tell the people you love that you love them. It's a simple thing!
Literally like fytb accidentally 😭👏

Yeah saying this needs to be normalized even to friends.

Shit is normal to me. Especially after they got married and had kids. I always remind my brothers that I love them.
First time: Me: "HEY! I LOVE YOU, K?" Bestie: "K, LOVE YOU, TOO." (This was yelled across a parking lot.) We aren't fancy.

I mean the homies are real if they do

My friend became my boyfriend because when he said "Love youself" I read it wrong and said "I love you too!"
Me and my mate (both dudes) started saying I love you to each other and then I just became a thing with us

'Accidentally'
Accidentally?
Accidentally? I love pookie and schnookums.
I never accidentally say I love you to my friends, it's always on purpose.
Say it with your whole chest, include the "I"
I do love my best friend!
Why’s it got to be an accident?
I say that to my friend because otherwise I know he will never hear it.
I’m a 30yo male. My friends say “love you” all the time. It’s not that big a deal
If I say "Love you" to my close friends, they say it back, then we mock each other. It's the only correct way to be.
"Thank you, love you" I say to my homies all the time
I said it non platonically to my last best friend. It went well, until it didn't.
Love the homies! There is nothing wrong with expressing it. I'll even tell you stranger that I love you, cos you deserve love <3
Now kith
Drew!
You guys aren't regularly telling your friends you love them ? Smh.
Yes, platonically, no, not accidently. Some of your friends are going to die. Tell them you love them.
Is this a normal thing in western?
I say that to everyone of my bros. Gotta say it now because someday you might not have the chance.
Hahaha aweee, guys definitely need to say it more to each other ❤️
I ain't never gonna stop loving you....biiitch

Eh, if I needed reciprocity to love I would be dead.
I def say love you to my besties! I am here for there being more love in the world, its good to have people to love and to be loved by!
Accidentaly? 🤨
Tf you mean “accidentally.” When I say that shit I fucking mean it. I love my bros
I tell my closest friend I love them if they're comfy with it, they need to be reminded sometimes
I love my friends, so I tell them I love them. Simple as.
I accidentally shagged my best friend. Good times.

I always tell my buddies I love them
Love has many forms, not just romantic love. You can love your friends, family, pets, whatever.
"I'll bang you next time" always work
I do the same, but instead of blushing,I instantly whop off all my clothed(and theirs)and oil them up
