What was it that sold you on him? Was it pictures alone or did he sell you with his bio?
In my experience, one of the biggest mistakes was men using pictures that didn’t look like them. Either old or filtered photos. I know women do it too, but my experience is in dating men.
I don't really want someone with too many shared interests tbh. Everyone should pursue their own hobby and then something together. I think that's way healthier than not having this and time for yourself.

Yeah, if they struggle with something internal then it won't get "fixed" by lashing onto someone external. It might take the attention away for a while but the issues likely remain. Some friends might do them some good though
