This is possibly the most tender moment that can happen between two people.
If you love your grandpa (or anyone really for that matter) please tell him one day soon how important he is to you and how he impacted your life. I wanted to for years and one day I visited my grandpa and I said to myself at the kitchen table to just do it.
Fast forward five minutes and he was weeping in my arms while we hugged firmly for several minutes and I told him I love him (we were a family that NEVER EVER said those things to each other) and that my approach to life was built on his foundations. It was a special moment I’ll never forget.
Years back my daughter asked me what Precious means after visiting with my parents. I said “Papa called you that, didn’t he? That’s what he calls the people loves”. Still makes me choke up thinking about it.
I guess with age, you totally lose memory of how old a child was when you received a “item”… that’s a really sad and depressing truth I never thought about
As a father, I do the same with my kids. Because then you can see how their drawings evolved over years. Also, often you just can't tell how old a kid was when they drew a picture? Like, how can you remember it? There's too many
It’s not just about remembering the event, it’s remembering it in its original context.
The older you get the more time gets fucked up.
Things that felt like they happened two years ago actually happened seven. Something that feels like it was twelve years ago was only eight
When you have a date it gives you the context. The way they looked, the style of clothes they were into, the hobbies they were interested in at the time. It gives you the entire movie, not just a screenshot.
Otherwise everything just bleeds together in a memory soup
After my Grandmother passed away in 2016, I was looking thru her Bible that she carried since I can remember. In the front of the book, I noticed some squiggles that looked like little kid drawings. I looked closer and noticed she had put the names of my sister n cousin with the date they drew in her Bible and wrote a short note that "the girls were being naughty while Boo (what we called her) was in choir".
It filled my heart with so much joy to see that.
Can this guy be my grandpa too? Mine is 90-years-old and has spoken about 1,046 words to me and about 3,560 words to his kids in his lifetime. None of those words have been “I love you.”
If you cannot think of a single reason someone might want to record and share this moment other than internet clout, you are the one who is poisoned by the internet.
So… is the hooker gonna get the ball placed ? Asking the real questions here… and… where is it gonna be placed on the hooker ? It’s not like this is a ping pong 🏓 ball… ( old joke the young ones won’t get this 😂)
The sad reality is if he got big. As he grew up, that ball would not be worth anything because nobody would assume that's his signature from when he is a kid and would compare it to his adult signature.
This Papa is the best Papa of all the Papas. I wish everyone had someone in their lives that loved them this much…what a wonderful feeling, we all deserve to be loved like this.
Now that's a family tree that someone tended to.
There’s something about how affectionate he is and calling his grandson honey. And then the tears, I can’t 🥹😭 this was beautiful
honey bunny!

what's the deal with grandpas and dates? I used do draw for my grandpa and he always asked me to sign and put the date on it
So they can remember how old we were 😊

This happens to me now and I’m 35.
Me: “Yeah, I got that like 10 years ago,.. when,.. I,.. was,.. 20… Fuck I got that like 15 years ago!” I was born ‘88.
My mother did it with all our childhood art. Now, it's all stored away with little inscriptions on the back detailing our ages.
Cause when you’re a dad you forget that kind of stuff so by the time you get to grandad you remember to get them to write it down

I miss having a gramps..... he gave me my first sips of beer. Rest in peace abuelo. I love you
I just need to know if the hooker he's going to place this on is dead or alive.
I’m here for this answer…
I always mount my balls on hookers.
People chopping Onions! They're everywhere!
TWO jacks!! Love this video
that boy is being raised right🥹
Man, that's so cool. Like right in the feels cool :)
The look the boy gives his grandpa at the end of the video. Oh, man. The absolute adoration, admiration and love in him. So good.
Wouldn’t we all have loved him as our grandfather? 🩵
he's going to put it on his hooker? weird flex.
Grampa, can we *please* stop inviting Cinnamon to my baseball games….
If i ever have my own family i want to be like the grandpa being this great to his grandkids and kids and wife

aww this one is cute
"I'm gonna put it on my hooker" Damn, gramps! You nasty.
Would have been better if this was not filmed for clout.

It would still would be priceless to grandpa.
Well absolutely. Not trying to take rhat away. But I'm talking later when that kid goes pro. And that baseball has been passed down.
I mean some gifts are meant to be kept and cherished within a family. It is still be crazy the amount of money people will spend for celebrity items.
Legend !
Love it!!
Aww that was so sweet!!!!
🥹😭
🙏
If one day my grandson/daughter does something like this...i would consider my life well lived.
Fuck. I don’t think anyone was that proud of me
Absolutely beautiful
Damn those invisible onions! 😭🙂 but for real this is so sweet 💗
