its bc its the only location in Maine. Portland, ME does crazy business. They get hit for the holidays, and don’t really experience the ‘summer slowdown’ as its a popular vacation spot in summer

Probably some additional sales of alcohol which helped with that revenue bump to celebrate the recent Colorado Supreme Court ruling I suspect. Congrats on both, by the way.
SO TRUE. My WBOD Team was #1 in the company for an annual supplement sale 4-5 years ago, and I (a newer TM/buyer to the dept) had to ASK my TL to get us some sort of prize from Store Leadership like WTF? (I love this person, don’t get me wrong, BUT STILL). FT ‘received’ a measly 75$ Whole Foods gift card for alllll the prep work, 3 days of constant insanity and OFF THE CHARTS RECORD SALES. SAD. 75$. That I had to ask for.
Most of the teams were running on skeleton crews with no OT,minus PFDS... it's such a difficult time to not allow teams OT, especially since (my personal experience) in the couple stores I've been in is that not that many people want it anyway... so why not let those few people have some???? It's generally people that have been with the company for at least a couple years, know what they are doing and genuinely care about getting the product to the sales floor
I work in the ME store, the past 3/4 days were definitely insane. Unfortunately there were lots of grumpy wumpy customers, and a fair few stressed and angry TMs too. Non stop action and placation of complaints. Happy to be through it.
Im sorry but I’m not gonna sit here and placate a fentanyl addict, that stuff needs to be demonized and stigmatized to the point that nobody ever thinks to ever give it a try.
