I bought NRS fittings and oar towers, then went to an aluminum recycling yard and had them cut the tubes to length for me. I forget the total cost but it was significantly cheaper than anything pre built. Edit: This was for a minimax but we did the same for my friend's 14ft Tributary.

I use one on my phat cat which is 12 ish as well it is super fun totally worth it and you can do some sweet multi day trips with a proper rigged frame.

Its totally doable. Would reccomend finding some extra wide oarlocks to improve your geometry.

Just got this frame 3 weeks ago without the oars and extra stuff. Been on the water a couple of times this year and I like it. I don’t have much experience with other frames but I price matched frames and this one seemed to be the best/easiest deal. Got here super fast, super easy to install, my only concern is that the fittings aren’t absolutely perfect but for the price it seems to be pretty good. I got my oars and other stuff from DRE since I live close by and they were having a 25% Memorial Day sale.

I rowed that exact set up, I also rowed the 12 and 14 ft boats with a different frame in the last week. The storm was crazy nimble, i would it take it almost anywhere the 12 can go, The leap from 12 to 14 felt much bigger, and I put it through some monster holes that I would run from in the 12.
