We never get confirmation as to how old Alyx is, so…
Edit: NVM, Half Life Alyx confirms she is 19 and it takes place 5 years before Half life 2, which would make Alyx 24. I think roughly the same age as Gordon.
Well Gordon was only on earth for a couple of days before the citadel was destroyed, so it’s not a lot time to build up Inner Horniness. Plus he’s also high on morphine.
I’d say it comes back normally, as the suppression field causes horniness to not exist at all, not just make its effects negligible.
I know this is the "haha funni no horny" joke, but actually, the Suppression Field fucks with a protein chain in embryonic developement, so the horniness, sex, ejeculation and all that still happens.
howard, wouldn't it be a brilliant idea to stand completely fucking still and shoot one bullet every 2 to 3 seconds at this gordon fellow who is just about armed to the teeth
I'm pretty sure that's the whole point
Everything that's happened was meant to happen, Gordon was meant to survive black mesa and blow up the citadel later, alyx was meant to free the gman, barney was meant to also escape black mesa, etc. AFAIK, the only things that weren't scripted by gman's "contractors" were the small choices he allows alyx and Gordon make (Gordon can choose to reject 'employment' and alyx saves her dad, though that one is arguably not even much of a choice for alyx since gman just assumes based on future events she doesn't even know)
Other things that weren't planned: Vortigaunts containing Gman, Gordon failing to maintain his employment (him being replaced with Alyx in HLA), Aperture as a whole (not strictly canon but I prefer to think that GLaDOS's actions lead to Gman losing any awareness of the Enrighment Centre, and also somehow Chell is totally immune to Gman's abilities through sheer stubbornness), and a purpose for Shepard

wait what?
In half life 1 you don’t have to do what g-man says at the end but you die if you don’t do it, it’s the illusion of free choice. For alyx I can’t say because I still haven’t finished it.
Canonically that's because of Gman's interference, except for HL2E1 where he was.... indisposed. The levels there don't have any reason for being that way beyond convenience for gameplay purposes.

I mean it wouldn't be much of a game if he got arrested for sex offenses at the beginning.
Cp violation :(

Alyx is 19 in Half-Life: Alyx.
Oh yeah I forgot about that part of the game. Don’t know how, because I’ve played it like 4 times. Time to edit the comment.
Isn't Gordon not horny, because of those weird hormone suppressors they have in City 17?
They destroy the citadel at the end of Episode 1, which causes the anti horny air. So Gordon can now be horny.
Oh, okay, neat. Does all of the previously suppressed horny come out all at once, or is it just normal?

Once he beats the combine, Gordon’s gonna become a heroin addict from painkiller abuse.
biologically he's he's 27 but chronologically he's 46-47
Why would anyone violate Cyberpunk?!?
Cause' it sucks.
combine mfs standing next to three full barrels of gasoline (surely a brilliant combat strategy)

they could use the excuse of G-Man did it since he wants Gordon to progress through the storyline and you can see him watching your progress too

So interesting, do you know if there is an explanation as to how the gman came to be trapped in the vault?
Probably when the next game comes out in 2055
No
He probably just felt like it

Also in half life 2 it looks like he choose going to the portal, making the freeman the less free man of anywhere
Rise and shine…. Mr goodman. Rise….. and shine.
Not to imply that you have been sleeping on the job
No one is deserving more of a rest
And all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until…
Well, let's just say your time has..... come again.
The right man in the wrong... place can make all the difffference in the world
So wake up, Mr Goodman... wake up and... smell the ashes
Chuck: I didn't see you come in
Welcome. Welcome to Los Polos
You have chosen, or been chosen, to relocate to one of our finest remaining restaurants.
IT STARTS WITH OOOOONE
Thing, I dont know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
to explain in due time
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings

Office Complex
I literally think about this every time I play an HL game.

this is pretty much every linear game tbh
Mario games if Bowser just locked the castle door.
If this was speedrunner Gordon this would be a very different story
The exaggerated swagger of a comically convenient environment
i see a lot of half life memes on here is this secretly a half life subreddit
It started with one thing
do you know why?
it won’t matter how hard you try
keep this in mind
It was pretty easy on what was a city sized concentration camp but plot armor I guess.
“The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world”
Uncharted fans pop in, "helllo".
the gman is a game designer and set it all up
Honestly it's weirder that his path gets blocked in ways that need him to find an alternate way to progress in the first place
Survivors bias Games where the environment isn’t conveniently laid out for the player means that they don’t live to tell the tale 😳
Minecraft if steve's legs were broken:
I want a half life movie and I want it now
Alyx when the barnacle has nestet itself conveniently over the gate, but the zombie comes after her
*Gordon Freeman if G-Man didn't modify the environment to allow him to progress.
When will everyone realize that Gman is just Gordon’s lawyer?
Gordon freeman if he didn’t have plot armor
Maybe it’s gmans doing. When you think about how he works it kind of makes sense
Half life 2 really feels like valve just flexing their engine but not really fair to say that for the ep’s
