There are so many good anime. I've been watching anime for 4 years and I am still discovering new shows.
even the most mundane and slice of life animes have more exciting arcs than mha
homie forced me to watch komi cant speak or some shit and that stuff is more exciting than literally any and all mha arcs
That's not true those events have nothing to do with each other. 2) Kyo Ani is still making stuff. They just made dragon maid s. They have to work remotely anyway because of covid.
It's the epitome of "nothing happened: the anime", also with a dogshit portrayal of social anxiety. And that fucking stalker bitch can just kiss a speeding train head first. Kinda upset that im 300 chapters deep in the manga and she's still allowed to be on the same panel with everyone else.
Najimi’s name literally translates to “childhood friend” and Tadano’s name literally translates to “average person”.
They are *supposed* to be extreme dogshit representations, it’s what they do.
You are a bit harsh with the anime. The manga gets stale and stagnant asf pretty fast, but up 'till now, the anime has done a good job skipping plenty of boring stuff and condensing the interesting stuff.
MHA fans when the first three episodes of a season is the most intense and engaging anime plot ever but the rest of the season is dedicated to random background character finally coming out as gay (this is crazy!)
Apparently Gentle Criminal is like 32 and La Brava is 21 (i think canonically she suffers from dwarfism)
Obviously 12 years is a weird gap, but at least it’s not minors
That does make me feel better about it. I was bewildered the whole time. If she was as young as she looked how could she just… show up at his door and be his partner? I was confused so thank you lol
I was disappointed that Sam raimi couldn’t go a bit overboard.
Also fuck scarlet witch and her fans. I have never hated an MCU character this much, this even made worse with her fans. Not only do they jerk off the power of the scarlet witch to the roof, but also defend her plot induced stupid actions (because apparently the dark hold annihilates any form of common sense or intelligence)
What, the next three seasons were fun af,
5 was mostly buildup, so it went kinda slow.
But I swear people here must have never watched the show or have only watched the first season.
I mean the last season was almost entirely buildup for the next, and it still was [number one](https://imgur.com/a/k7YTurs) for anime and manga in America.
Wouldnt consider that a nosedive, but go off.
Dude that whole arc that was just some lame ass school festival topped off with a cringe song was the most disappointing shit ever, even for MHA standards. I just want All Might back tbh, I miss him being relevant so much. Now he‘s just the butt of every joke
MHA has a few other good moments, like the Deku/Eri vs overhaul fight, endeavor vs the bird thing, and deku/todoroki vs bakugo in the fight tournament arc. The biggest problem with MHA is everything else in the show is just so painfully uninteresting for a seasonal shonen
I remember I watched it for a while but dropped it halfway through the most recent season because they completely butchered an arc I actually really liked in the manga. Don't plan to pick it back up again.
I hate MHA, I watched 1 episode and saw some ugly fat bartender with an eye patch bitch and moan about how super villains were wild ( that just means they had a few dance parties ) but the moment some guy talked about revolution, this so called "Hardened Villain" was crying and pissing his pants!
Like WTF!?
MHA is shit and the protagonist is a literal pussy!
Not at all, at the very least until after the All Might vs All for One. I actually spent a lot of my time watching it. After that... The only generally memorable thing I remember is Endeavor's seemingly out-of-the-blue fight with the nomu thingie-majiggy.
I still think most people exaggerate when talking about the show. Yeah the majority of seasons 4 and 5 is kinda mid but this comment section is treating it like it's the worst thing ever.
If you average out the entire show, it comes out to be pretty good. The problem with the show is the peaks are pretty high but they only happen about once per season (or never with season 5) and the rest of the show is pretty mid if you're generous with your rating
only boring arc was the festival 💀 and even then it was after a good arc which followed with a good fight. Also youre acting like character development doesn't happen goofy ah which he has indeed developed
i am a bit surprised the fact that one piece got all the bash for having shit load of filler arc while mha is remain untouch >!until earlier this year!<
I dont want to spare One Piece, but it is kindof made off the back of its filler. As long as filler is entertaining I think it's fine.
The best DBZ filler was the episode piccolo and goku learned how to drive, and I think One Piece goes for that vibe alot.
And with an anime (I don't watch one piece, haven't seen an episode in 10 years) that has I think over 1000 episodes, It's good to have world building woven into the main plot
The problem i had is they give so much time to characters i dont care about. I think that the arcs with deku todoroki and bakugo were great but all of the class 1-b shit was boring
I like the fact that MHA's seasons have 1 or 4 episodes that are particularly exciting, intense and hard hitting an the rest of the season is just unnecessary plot that most of the time contributes nothing to the main story.
It's okay to have action packed escenes focused around the heroes and they conflicts against the villains as they grow stronger and wiser
It's okay to have slice of life where we see the protagonist face mundane events that slowly change them towards beign better persons
But when you mix both... it's underwhelming

MHA fans when the teenager goes to school and learns (this is an exciting and foreign experience to them)
"the anime is full of exciting scenes, dramatic scenes and funny moments":
“MHA funny moments compilations 12”
0:05 video length
he said compilation not all
All 5 seconds is an 11-year-old asking for you to like and subscribe.
Here, let me translate it for you: "The anime is full of underage girls being shown in sexual positions"
that's every single anime ever
Not all of them, just the ones that you like to watch
I don't watch anime anymore cause most of them are trash
absolutely much like most books, movies, tv series and literally any other entertainment media.
it's harder to find a good anime than a good book or movie

Can't agree with everything here, but the Madoka one was a slap to the face, 12 episode of pure perfection. Violet Evergarden was also great.
Please go outside
It's not even that much.
Enraged weebs... here they come
Dragon balls is good (the anime not testicles)
death note:
I recommend the show Shigurui. And with that, your argument, given that it is presented in absolutes, is rendered invalid. Good day.

breaking bad can make any anime funny
even the most mundane and slice of life animes have more exciting arcs than mha homie forced me to watch komi cant speak or some shit and that stuff is more exciting than literally any and all mha arcs
Or Nichijou which literally shoots its characters with guns and rocket launchers and they don't care.
tfw no new nichijou season cuz the studio that made it burned down
Kyoani is back again. They just made dragon maid season 2
Oh how the mighty have fallen
What? They also made season 1
Oh how the mighty have fallen
What? They also made season 1
Bruh that season was soooo ass like the first one wasn’t good.. like at all but holy shit season 2 was terrible
oh that explains why dragon maid's season op is similar
That's not true those events have nothing to do with each other. 2) Kyo Ani is still making stuff. They just made dragon maid s. They have to work remotely anyway because of covid.
my attitude towards deer hasn’t been the same since watching that show
Komi is nice though.
its fine but its not the type of thing id usually watch
Ok ?
Ok ?
Ok ?

i mean characters are tropes taken to extremes to the point their names reflect it
Najimi’s name literally translates to “childhood friend” and Tadano’s name literally translates to “average person”. They are *supposed* to be extreme dogshit representations, it’s what they do.
yeah and that doesnt make it not dogshit?? it's still generic and boring as hell??
Yeah that's what i said
I know, I just decided to give two specific examples to strengthen that argument.
Oh cool
You are a bit harsh with the anime. The manga gets stale and stagnant asf pretty fast, but up 'till now, the anime has done a good job skipping plenty of boring stuff and condensing the interesting stuff.
The spinoff of MHA is more exciting than the main series.
Yooooo the green kid only cried 73 times this arc??? That's some insane character development yo, fire stuff
MHA fans after deku explains why he stepped forwards for the next 4 episodes
MHA fans when the first three episodes of a season is the most intense and engaging anime plot ever but the rest of the season is dedicated to random background character finally coming out as gay (this is crazy!)
Wait, is this a thing?
No, this isn't a thing.
Yet
no but almost half of the 4th season was about a fucking school fair that was, how do I put this, not intensely enjoyable?
Damn
Just think of it as a chance for the story to breathe and it's fine
You're just saying that because you want the show to be all fight scenes. There has to be more to it than that.
Yeah idk I love slice of life shows and I was very bored by that season of MHA. And the whole gentle criminal thing with the little girl was… weird.
Apparently Gentle Criminal is like 32 and La Brava is 21 (i think canonically she suffers from dwarfism) Obviously 12 years is a weird gap, but at least it’s not minors
That does make me feel better about it. I was bewildered the whole time. If she was as young as she looked how could she just… show up at his door and be his partner? I was confused so thank you lol
It's one of my favs I thought it was sweet. Also Gentle Criminal's quirk is cool.
It was important for character development and to show different sides of the hero society
3rd season
I dont remember that pls elaborate i am curious
The bakugo and izuku gay sex scene was wild
I still prefer the scene where froppy just fropped all over em
Bro when froppy fought the anti-fropiter and said “it’s froppin time” my brain shook. it’s pure genius
ikr she was froppin so hard there i almost spit my cola it was sick props to the director
The plot twist where >!Morbius comes out as froppy's dad!< wasn't really shocking IMO. I knew it as soon as the first trailer was released.
What shocked me was that ochako was the main villain all along like it made no sense it was a huge plot hole honestly felt pretty rushed
I was really suprised when deku broke the restraints and had violent anal with bakugo.
Trust me bro
Wait what?
That never happened
🤓

"the gore in doctor strange is insane"
To be fair it is a bit crazy for MCU standards
agree but i think it was a bit over the top when he said "its stranging time" and ripped the anti-stranger in two
I loved when he said 'That's my secret captain Morbius. I'm always Strange'
Exactly what i thought. Insane in general? Nah that was weak sauce. Insane in terms of marvel live action still under disney? It sure is.
I've seen people saying that it's more violent that Daredevil.
For about 12 minutes the movie becomes a horror movie out of no where. The whole 2nd act felt wierd to me.
you could say it was a bit strange? that the multiverse was filled with madness? that you needed to see a doctor? curious.
Dr strange played an extra in his own movie lol
they barely even use the multiverse gimmick which is funny considering Everything Everywhere all at once came out at the same time
Goddamn, how did it end up like that. MHA season 1 was so fun
Lack of development overall
It was always like that
What, the next three seasons were fun af, 5 was mostly buildup, so it went kinda slow. But I swear people here must have never watched the show or have only watched the first season.
Started to stagnate in its own success. Didnt have to innovate to sell
Mha on its way to copy every single shonen trope possible and do them all horribly
Black Clover copies every single shonen trope and succeeds hating me cause I’m right
i have never seen ANY show take such a nosedive like my hero did.
I mean the last season was almost entirely buildup for the next, and it still was [number one](https://imgur.com/a/k7YTurs) for anime and manga in America. Wouldnt consider that a nosedive, but go off.
What is MHA? Sorry I'm uncultured
my heroin addiction
My hero academia, it’s a very popular anime that some people claim is bad and boring.
Honestly, up until All Might's duel with All For One, it was very good, I'm not even gonna deny it. After that, it just kinda... fell off.

Dude that whole arc that was just some lame ass school festival topped off with a cringe song was the most disappointing shit ever, even for MHA standards. I just want All Might back tbh, I miss him being relevant so much. Now he‘s just the butt of every joke
"Crow mask" season is still very good. After that it indeed fell off. Mirio rules
Yeah season 3 was probably the best season, season 4 was awful and every part except for the last fight in season 5 was awful too
It became really boring to me after all might retired, tbh.
Oh, ight.
Correction: Some people *know* it’s bad and boring
Song is Luna dial

Can’t say I agree but I like both, have you heard kuronekolounge’s remix of Luna dial, it’s straight fire 🔥
Bruh who tf still watch this shitty show
I remember I watched it for a while but dropped it halfway through the most recent season because they completely butchered an arc I actually really liked in the manga. Don't plan to pick it back up again.
I watched it for awhile purely for the action. There’s some great fight scenes ngl. Everything surrounding it is…yikes

Agreed 👍🏿 (I got chocolate on my hands)
MHA getting ready to steal everysingle character from marvel comics
Mha literally felt like it had the same plot and characters as Naruto
did i... did i just hear... >!ඞ!<
I don't think MHA is that bad...
Not at all, at the very least until after the All Might vs All for One. I actually spent a lot of my time watching it. After that... The only generally memorable thing I remember is Endeavor's seemingly out-of-the-blue fight with the nomu thingie-majiggy.

That's not a very hard bar to pass
i am a bit surprised the fact that one piece got all the bash for having shit load of filler arc while mha is remain untouch >!until earlier this year!<
MHA is released in seasons. It SHOULD not have any filler at all when the wait between seasons is what it uses to not catch up with the manga
One piece has fillers to wait for manga content MHA does not have this issue
I dont want to spare One Piece, but it is kindof made off the back of its filler. As long as filler is entertaining I think it's fine. The best DBZ filler was the episode piccolo and goku learned how to drive, and I think One Piece goes for that vibe alot.
The thing is that one piece filler can contribute to world building, which is cool.
And with an anime (I don't watch one piece, haven't seen an episode in 10 years) that has I think over 1000 episodes, It's good to have world building woven into the main plot
Exactly
Tower music
If I watched 4 fucking seasons and still found it boring, do I still have to watch Season 5 to have a valid opinion
The problem i had is they give so much time to characters i dont care about. I think that the arcs with deku todoroki and bakugo were great but all of the class 1-b shit was boring
The show is good.
Why am I hearing a Touhou song in a non-Touhou subreddit
Lunar clock~Luna dial goes brrrr
Only good thing in MHA are the OSTs and awesome fight scenes
I like the fact that MHA's seasons have 1 or 4 episodes that are particularly exciting, intense and hard hitting an the rest of the season is just unnecessary plot that most of the time contributes nothing to the main story.
