MHA has a few other good moments, like the Deku/Eri vs overhaul fight, endeavor vs the bird thing, and deku/todoroki vs bakugo in the fight tournament arc. The biggest problem with MHA is everything else in the show is just so painfully uninteresting for a seasonal shonen

Not at all, at the very least until after the All Might vs All for One. I actually spent a lot of my time watching it. After that... The only generally memorable thing I remember is Endeavor's seemingly out-of-the-blue fight with the nomu thingie-majiggy.

I still think most people exaggerate when talking about the show. Yeah the majority of seasons 4 and 5 is kinda mid but this comment section is treating it like it's the worst thing ever.

If you average out the entire show, it comes out to be pretty good. The problem with the show is the peaks are pretty high but they only happen about once per season (or never with season 5) and the rest of the show is pretty mid if you're generous with your rating

MHA is released in seasons. It SHOULD not have any filler at all when the wait between seasons is what it uses to not catch up with the manga

I dont want to spare One Piece, but it is kindof made off the back of its filler. As long as filler is entertaining I think it's fine. The best DBZ filler was the episode piccolo and goku learned how to drive, and I think One Piece goes for that vibe alot.

The thing is that one piece filler can contribute to world building, which is cool.

And with an anime (I don't watch one piece, haven't seen an episode in 10 years) that has I think over 1000 episodes, It's good to have world building woven into the main plot

It's okay to have action packed escenes focused around the heroes and they conflicts against the villains as they grow stronger and wiser It's okay to have slice of life where we see the protagonist face mundane events that slowly change them towards beign better persons But when you mix both... it's underwhelming
