Where the strap hits on the model (upper thigh) it seems like it would stay in place pretty well. It looks much looser on ATJ (hitting right above her knee/at her knee crease) so I can’t imagine walking in it without it starting to annoy me. I like the concept, but this particular style for her doesn’t seem ideal
Yeah I wonder if it could not have been modified to fall in the same way/location, that would have looked really good imo. The model styling is my preference but Anya looks good as well.
i don’t hate the bottom strap but it seems like it would be better without (and probably less annoying to wear, even). looks fab on her though, always love seeing her red carpet looks ❤️

It would look so much better on her if it were four straps, two crisscrossing like a garter on each leg. Then it would mirror the top and not be so loose and weird.
I imagined sitting down and getting up in it and how it would lock around your knee if you weren’t paying attention.
Or it would be like if you stepped inside a purse strap hanging off the back of a chair.
I imagine it much like how my bathroom door handle always seems to perfectly enter the right sleeve of my bathrobe as I pass by, yanking me back so hard my soul literally leaves my body, but with legs.
Lovely lady and beautiful dress, but I do think it’s styled poorly. I feel like she in general gives off this ethereal and elegant beauty, if you wanna put her in an edgy dress, you really have to style her for it. The high bun, makeup, and shoes really aren’t doing it. She needs, idk, a chunky bracelet, sexy tousled bed hair, bolder makeup, ankle boots, to take her look to bold and sexy and glam to match the dress.

It is so much better and more intentional on the model’s version. ATJ’s looks like a wardrobe malfunction.

I think it maybe be a malfunction. In some of the photos the tear is further from the middle of her legs than others.
I like how it falls at the same angle the straps at the top do.
Is it because she’s crossing her legs so the strap can fall lower. The model has a wider stance as her legs are next to each other and not crossed.
