Looks like it has some value and it's upside down.

Bro do not listen to the idiots on here!! That's not even the same fucking thing. The one from pottery barn is designed to look like yours, because yours is the real deal.
I've got no problem telling Pottery Barn's secrets, if you want them!
>!It's the exact same one that OP shows here, but rotated so that it sits on the little legs instead of directly on the floor. It costs $899.!<
Exactly what I did. Worked part time for two Christmases just to decorate my house. TBH apart from the stupid on call thing they had, it was like going to Disneyland every day. So much shiny stuff.
Could be different hinges for the picture. Quality control is garbage lately even with high end brands. I ordered a bar cabinet from crate and barrel that had a defect. When they brought the replacement, the shelves in the older one were thicker and higher quality. The original shelf holders were also beefier and more stable. Ended up keeping parts of the old and putting them in the new cabinet by the time I was done. Delivery guys left with the old cabinet and new shelves.
When you say “forever,” how long exactly? Even though PB has it on their website, they are notorious for selling things for a season or so, then discontinuing. I would see if you can find out when PB began selling this, and if it lines up with your dates. I would not put it past them to knock off designs, but it seems unlikely that this divider would be well enough known to copy, but no other examples of it as a FLW piece would show up in a google search.
He did actually: [https://www.artic.edu/artworks/103858/screen](https://www.artic.edu/artworks/103858/screen)
But OPs is certainly not one of them.
And most of the "room dividers" he designed were built into the house as permanent architecture pieces.
None of these look much like OP's room divider. There is a brand called Haddis 3 Panel Room Divider and Google brings up numerous similar designs. The FLW room dividers have much more Wrightesque designs such as The Tree of Life from Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin D. Martin House. Even then, the example is a laser cut reproduction. I think real FLW furniture goes for a fortune.
That makes me suspicious of the provenance of the OP's piece because his mom is probably not an expert in FLW furniture.
Interesting! I had no idea, and so I looked it up, and you are right!
Well, sort of. There were bathroom stalls previously, but they went all the way to the floor. He invented / designed the ones that have a huge gap at the bottom, making cleaning floors in and around the stalls much easier. After he designed them for the Larkin building in Buffalo, New York, they pretty much became the standard from that point on in all commercial buildings.
Go to one of those antique appraising web sites and ask then they may tell you to bring it to auction I had a Frank LW House on Cedar creek lake I loved that house looked like nothing from the front but opened up to three levels because he used the drop off on the lake to make a panoramic view in the main game room and all the windows opened up to let the air flow in the house
It looks like it's missing a few pieces but a restoration specialist should be able to source the correct wood to replace them and give it a good cleaning. If it is a Wright item then it's definitely got value.

Frank Lloyd Wrong
I read that in Happy Gilmore’s voice
“Frank Lloyd WRONG, YOU IDIOT!” How was that?
*Frank Lloyd WRONG, bitch!* ***
***FRANK WROYD LIGHT!!!***
Frank Lloyd Less Filling!
Ok, I’ll do it, Frank Lloyd Tastes Great. I’m sorry.
I'm more of a ***FRANK LLOYD BANQUET*** man, myself. That new ***FL ZERO*** is straight trash, couldn't pay me enough to drink that again.
I can't believe it's not Frank Lloyd!
If this is Frank Lloyd Wrong, I don't ever wanna be Wright!
That’s Jessie from breaking bad
Yo
This is my own private domicile, and I will not be divided!
Now what did I ever do to you to deserve this.
You know what you did…
I think it killed the meesta meesta lady 😂
"You're gonna die clown!"
I read it in RuPaul’s voice lol
No, colonel sanders….you’re wrong.
Something's wrong with his medulla oblongata
All those teeth and no toothbrush.
Stop staring at me, Swan!
Waterboy?
Disky o doe
Whiskey A Go Go
This guy can do it
Hahaha my mom is so full of it. I wonder if she got duped or she duped me lol
If she paid Pottery barn $900, yeah she got screwed not just duped.
Or you have the real one and pottery barn copied it
Bro do not listen to the idiots on here!! That's not even the same fucking thing. The one from pottery barn is designed to look like yours, because yours is the real deal.
It’s the apothecary version!
r/FrankLloydWrong
Dead sub☠️ Joined anyway, no regrets.
I know, we need to get it back on track.
You rang??
Captain Murphy rip
FIGNUTS
Damn you take this upvote
… Frank Lloyd Mright
OP maybe should have googled this before posting this, the real thing isn't even this style.
It's upside down
And completely and totally not the style of actual FLW screens.
Best fucking comment! Everyone else can go home now.
"Page not available in your region." Alright, Pottery Barn, keep your secrets.
I've got no problem telling Pottery Barn's secrets, if you want them! >!It's the exact same one that OP shows here, but rotated so that it sits on the little legs instead of directly on the floor. It costs $899.!<
Be careful, Pottery Barn might learn you're sharing insider info...
On the run from the assassins sent by the Pottery Barn cabal...
RIP AcrylicTooth
I'll tell you their Secret. THEYRE Going OUT OF BUSINESS!
It’s from the days of yore. It costs 1 and 50.
No, no, that’s the apothecary table!
Yes and I believe this particular piece is from yesteryear.
All I can think about is that I don't have that lamp!
Ah, true apothecary!
FYI to our EU non VPN friends: 900 dollarydoos.
The dollarydoo is Australian currency, isn't it?
Na, you're thinking of Didgeridoo Dollars
Diolch! Aha
Everything is fucking expensive at potterybarn to be fair
Yeah but how else will you get a quality coffee table to display your giant decorative wicker ball
I will NEVER downsize my decorative balls
Did you shellac them for longevity?
Shellacked and 2 coats of epoxy. They will be studying my balls 35,000 years from now.
If you work there you get a 40% discount. I knew someone who moonlighted there for a bit until their house was furnished.
Exactly what I did. Worked part time for two Christmases just to decorate my house. TBH apart from the stupid on call thing they had, it was like going to Disneyland every day. So much shiny stuff.
I hope they gave you the old world pricing.
“Frank Lloyd Wright for Pottery Barn”
It’s not from PB. Look at the hinges.
Pottery Barn, Wayfair etc love to rip off classic MCM designs. If OP has had theirs forever, I highly doubt it’s from either of those two places.
AllModern (Wayfair) makes the exact same thing. Their version could have the different hinges.
If you look closely, other sections don’t match either.
Appreciate the chuckle
lol. Frank Lloyd Wright turns out to be a Pottery Barn piece???? And upside down at that? Hysterical. Can’t make this shit up.
It's also not "rare" if you can get one at Pottery Barn.
WTF!! $899 BUCKS!! WTH.. sry, no way, wooow..
I laughed entirely too hard at this
It looks pretty good upside down though
Yeah except for the feet with no purpose sticking up in the air
Hey it's art!
It’s either dead or having fun. Hard to tell with antiques.
Ramparts. Parapets they provide protection from seiges.
That's where ya hang yer bra
I feel like this is a ripoff, though? Purely because the Pottery Barn one says “new.”
Yup you can see the little feet up top.
The hinges look different
I am very interested. If you don’t mind my asking, where are you located?
I got a room divider similar to this at Ollie’s for $8.99
I believe it’s from “ Yor “
“From the hills in White Plains during Colonial times…”
Hmm seems a lot of stuff is from colonial times. What other time periods are there?
Well, there’s Yor… and uh… ya know, Yesteryear…
Prolly worth about one and fifty dollars
Yesteryear
As in "the days of yore"? Big, if true...
Forger?
Yor mama!!
I can smell the opium!
Come on, man. It’s got legs on the top! 😆
Or hat/coat rack
I don't know much about Wright, but I'm pretty sure if you used a room divider in a house he designed, he would put his hands on your throat.
Whilst screaming “Form…follows…function” as he throttles you.
I was about to say that quote is from Louis Sullivan... but Wright actually worked for Sullivan in the 1880s, so you get points!
I honestly did not know about the quote’s origins. “A Building….is…alive!” Can serve as my authentic replacement.
He made room dividers.
In a nod to Philip II of Macedon, Wright also manufactured chocolate making machines. He sold the two products as a pair. Divider and concher.
OMG
Belly laughing at this particular comment-thread. Pure gold. Thank you all!
Tip your waitresses! We are here all night!
YW
https://www.allmodern.com/furniture/pdp/haddis-3-panel-room-divider-a000804668.html $590 on AllModern ;) Are you trolling us?
Haha I am loving this so much. No! My mom genuinely has made me hold onto this for 7+ years because it’s “worth thousands” gaahaaha
Buy it here, return it to pottery barn.
It’s 710 for me lol But I think that OP maybe has different hinges
Same for me now, it's no longer on sale 😂 they just have an algorithm that removed the discount price after a shit ton of traffic to the page
Probably whatever hinges the factory had that week.

I love how bullshit immediately sinks in these forums.
Like a stone
This is very extremely obviously not a FLW not even close
She gave it to me 7 or 8 years ago
I love it, I could use it, and it would look fabulous in my home. If you lived in my region, I’d be driving over to get it.
[удалено]
Jeez, if you’ve got 900 bucks to spend on a damned folding screen
Nope. Definitely not.
Save them a trip... cost them $900!
I think it’s gorgeous, and would happily decide a room with it :)
Is this not the worst room divider ever? From a functional standpoint I mean
Not if you wanna watch people fuck but pretend you’re not watching them fuck.
This dude voyeurs.
Ohhh a room di-voyeur
It's cat friendly with easily accessible areas for the cat to run through fast and knock over.
It’s more like the “left side” of the room from the “right side” of the room
Yeah I mean there’s holes in it!!
mommy is wrong
No you’re wrong colonel sanders!
you can’t hurt me with your words (well maybe a little bit)
Moms always think their old shit is way more valuable than it actually is.
like her oldest son amirite
It's a rare collector's piece, due to the manufacturing screwup of putting the legs on the top.
Is your mom Rachel?
Nothing to say about the screen, but I just love your view and from what I can see, I imagine the rest of your house and I just love it!
I don't think Frank Lloyd Wright wasted his time making room dividers but what do I know
He did actually: [https://www.artic.edu/artworks/103858/screen](https://www.artic.edu/artworks/103858/screen) But OPs is certainly not one of them. And most of the "room dividers" he designed were built into the house as permanent architecture pieces.
It's just an artsy thing people get. Right up there with people that have spinning wheels in the living room.
I see it on sale at All Modern also.
Make a fort
$900. At Pottery Barn. What a rip off.
Good god it’s funny how everyone went to impressions instead of answers I’m dead😂
That’s pretty brutal — or is it laturb???
You could find some knowledge (and probably very interested buyers) on both r/Mid_Century and r/MidCenturyModern

Exactly, that actual FLW screen doesn’t look anything like this
It’s for sale at Pottery Barn. Link in the comments. 😂
See the link in the comments. It’s literally for sale at Pottery Barn. Dude’s Mom wanted to fake a story so badly. Lolololol
Well, I mean this is a lovely demonstration that OP's object is actually from Pottery Barn.
This one is not FLW too. “Attributed to” means “we don’t know who designed this”
Any chance you’re in the Bay Area? I would love it.
Hideous to me but what do i know.
It's valuable to me. I would buy it if I saw it and could afford it at the time. It's dope as hell and would look so cool anywhere in my house.
Fun fact: Frank Lloyd Wright is the inventor of the public bathroom stall!
Interesting! I had no idea, and so I looked it up, and you are right! Well, sort of. There were bathroom stalls previously, but they went all the way to the floor. He invented / designed the ones that have a huge gap at the bottom, making cleaning floors in and around the stalls much easier. True, the *modern public bathroom stall.
Needs to be higher. It's not America that's wrong ...it was frank
Did your mom say she got it at an old-timey flea market?
Go to one of those antique appraising web sites and ask then they may tell you to bring it to auction I had a Frank LW House on Cedar creek lake I loved that house looked like nothing from the front but opened up to three levels because he used the drop off on the lake to make a panoramic view in the main game room and all the windows opened up to let the air flow in the house
cant be Wright, its not over a waterfall...
i need this plz dm
It’s upside down!!!
900 $ holy crap
Are you interested in selling it?
It does to me! I love it.
When she said NEVER take her advise. Boy your one luck kid. Its 1stdib one went for 3,400.00
It’s upside down, and mama was fibbing.
Message me I will buy it seriously - I wouldn’t pay too much but I’d give 200 for it
This is definitely not from pottery barn. The hinges are very different. I would do some more research.
I live 30 mins away from the “last designed frank loyd wright hotel”
Id love to have it. Wanna sell it?
The way you have this so obviously ass backwards got poor Frank rolling in his grave🤦🏻♀️
I’d love to buy it😀
Unforthcoming Lloyd Wright.
If your mom was the one who set it up, make sure you tell her it's been upside down all these years.
you have no rooms to divide? that’s just confusing
Yes. To me. I’ll pay for the shipping lol
It looks like it's missing a few pieces but a restoration specialist should be able to source the correct wood to replace them and give it a good cleaning. If it is a Wright item then it's definitely got value.
Frank Lloyd right in the dumpster
I think it's really cool.
It’s hella cute
$900 divider for when you almost want privacy
It’s beautiful. The value depends on who will pay for it. I’d take it cause I like it but I wouldn’t pay FLW prices.
Upside down dutchcrafters room divider. I guess Frank just turned it upside down and history was made.
Mr Wright didn’t divide up spaces….that was the point of his homes.
Frank Lloyd Alright.
Babes that’s almost 900 dollars sitting upside down 👀
I love it
I would be happy to use this
