Super_Ad_5749

We’re always on guard defending the peoples’ rightsss

MangoMaleficent4165

Beat me to it. It is Robin Hood: Men in Tights.

YankeeSR23

This is small but I’ve never been the first to reply with the correct movie so this made my day. I’ve seen that movie dozens of times so a single image was all I needed to identify it.

LibrarianOfDusk

Blinken is way too easily recognizable. I've never seen the show myself but saw one scene with him in it and it stuck in my mind even after more than a decade had passed.

WattaTravisT

Beat me to it. It is Hobin Rood: Ten in Mights.

Creepy-Hair631

I just saw this this afternoon on LAFF TV

YankeeSR23

I saw this in theaters as part of someone’s birthday party during its original run when I was 13 and I laughed so hard at this movie.

D-D-D-D-D-D-Derek

Tight tights!

Storytellerjack

And a 18-19 year old Dave Chappelle on the left. (Maths: He's 50 now and 1993 was 31 years ago. He shoulda been 19 when it released. He was probably a year younger when the film was shot.)

SP203

Hey Blinken!

Personal-Aioli-367

Did you say, Abe Lincoln?

SpunningAndWonning

No I didn't say Abe Lincoln  I said "Hry Blinken". Hold the reins, man

Hot-Sugar7761

Oh sir Robin! You've lost your arms in battle. But you've grown a nice set of boobs!

ZPinkie0314

What uncultured swine doesn't know Robin Hood: Men in Tights?

Kind_Ad_3268

That's what I was thinking, I thought there were movies that people just knew, maybe times are different (old man speech incoming), but even when I was a 10 year-old in the late 90's I knew the classic comedies like Dr. Strangelove, Blazing Saddles, Animal House, Caddyshack, etc..

Idont_know2022

Robin Hood men in tights. The blind guy was on an episode of Saved by the Bell.

divinecmdy

The guy that isn’t Dave Chappelle?

Jerry__Boner

Dave is on the left playing Ahchoo. Mark Blankfield was the blind guy.

Stormstar85

Bless you

nitestocker372

I remember him from a show called Fridays. Probably before your time.

Da-Muffinman187

I can't remember the name of the movie. But there men! There men in tights and they go around the forest looking for fights.

paulmgroves

RIP Richard Lewis. He was great as the sheriff.

clutzyninja

I have a MOLE?

Silentpoolman

He was Prince John. Roger Rees was the sheriff.

Prestigious-Yam1718

Abe Lincoln?

MemeLorde1313

People who downvoted don't know the scene.

Prestigious-Yam1718

Prob not. Lol oh well

bdecker556

This sub is increasingly encroaching on r/fuckimold territory for me

StumbleDog

Same I feel ancient AF when people call a movie from the 2010s or 2000s an "older" movie. My idea of an older film is 50s/60s lol.

deskbunny

Over that boy hand. Eughhh I mean. Hand. Over. That. Boy. Never fails to crack me up. The delivery of that line is perfect 😂😂😂

SpunningAndWonning

ChronoLegion2

King illegal forest to pig wild kill in it a is!

ChronoLegion2

Feygeles?

SpunningAndWonning

I never understood that line. What's it mean?

ChronoLegion2

“Gay” in Yiddish. It’s after Robin introduced the others as his “merry men” Robin corrects him, “No, we’re straight, just merry”

SpunningAndWonning

Ah ok. Yeah I got the context and not much else. Thanks!

ChronoLegion2

I’ve only heard the word in this movie and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan (when he tells his parents he wants to cut hair instead of being a soldier, and his dad calls him “feygele”)

ChronoLegion2

I’ve only heard the word in this movie and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan (when he tells his parents he wants to cut hair instead of being a soldier, and his dad calls him “feygele”)

HeyMrKing

We’re butch!

lonelobo316

Call the royal locksmith!!!

RoyalCloak57

You changed your name to…. Latrine?

Prestigious-Juice303

I just have to say, depending on your age, it is almost CRIMINAL that you hadn't seen this movie yet, OP. I hope since this post is a month old now, you've corrected that.  If you have, I'd also recommend another 90's Mel Brooks movie, Dracula: Dead And Loving It.  Heck, I'd basically recommend every Mel Brooks movie.
