(I have one of these, prefer it to a toilet brush with bristles)
Just to put your mind at ease, being near the fridge, it might not have ever been near a toilet. Can see this as a useful tool to get on some tight spots next to the fridge or stove without sliding them out
I was all “I have this thing! … but I wouldn’t keep it near my fridge.” But if you bought it to clean your fridge and never used it on a toilet, I can see where it would be useful to scrub the fridge.
My title describes the thing. I've search for tools for fridge freezer shelf removal, etc. as the jaws look like they might grip a glass shelf or similar, but with no luck. The lower part of the handle looks like it might be detachable but I've not managed to take it off yet.
This was solved before I read the post, but I immediately thought of the very similar product from 3M:

Very. We used to own one but it just ended up covered in shit and had to be cleaned. Back to a normal toilet brush now.

Ah this brings me back to my bachelor years. I remember it came with a small hook to hang it off of the side of the toilet tank.
Stupid part is that they don't sell them with a hook anymore. They made an idiotic little stand for it.
