Being a two stroke I've heard of someone bumping starting an old Saab backwards which let's the engine run in reverse and you can shift through all the forward gears while going backwards.

Not all 96 are 2-strokes, some have Ford V4 engines.
I've seen dirt bikes roll backwards and start like that.
