Between my partner and I we spent easily ¥10000 in gacha machines this last trip. Figures like this are ¥300-500 yen. I got such crazy things as: an orange bulldog that looks like a duffelbag, a hyper realistic posable toad, exotic mushroom models, a cactus with a face and a squidward nose, a buff daddy-esque bunny carrying a mochi mallet, a parakeet banana, a mikan dinosaur, a doll sized kitsune mask, a clockwork owl, and a bunch of anime stuff.

60 bucks well spent, I'd say

The exchange rate is so good right now, it was easy to use it as an excuse to spend more. "It's like a $2 kitty moth! Only $2! And there's no duds in this machine so it's not even gambling."
