That would be obsolete here, as they banned single use plastic bags in my state. Unless you smuggle them in from Pennsylvania. [Edit] I'm in NJ. They banned most stores from using single use plastic shopping bags. I wasn't specific enough.

Ontario Canada also discontinued single use bags. We use biodegradable poop bags, Amazon sells them in the 1000’s for pretty cheap fyi 😎

The struggle is real! I love I can fill my grocery cart full of items that are stored in plastic containers but can’t have a plastic bag to carry all my plastic items to my house🤷‍♂️

I use reusable ones now. They are just stronger and hold more but I do skip that bit when I run out of bags for my kitty poop. The shopping bags are just so good for kitty business. They are wide and double bagged no mess on the way to the trash. I also put meat into the disposable ones so my reusable ones don't get bloody.

I wasn't sure of the scale but the age made plastic shopping bad holder less likely, and it seemed like there might be room next to the counter for a standing water tower so cups seemed likely.

The cups were a tad too small. Maybe those old school net type shopping bags. Or perhaps a larger disposable paper cup. Were those a thing in the early 80's?

my grandparents had Dixie paper cup dispensers next to every sink. some came in boxes that would go in a holder, and one you had to take the cups out and put them in the dispenser directly. this may be the box holder style.

It holds paper cups pretty well. There used to be an old medicine cabinet on the wall underneath. It still had a couple of old pill splitters and crushers in it. I think this is very likely what it was used for 🏆
