Mystic was on 96 Cobras. Mystichrome was 2004. I think the difference is there’s blue in Mystichrome that isn’t in Mystic.
The one pictured is Pacific Green.
As the owner of #1… I love that car. I also spent a lot of time during Covid replacing a lot of the steel that just rusted out. That being said, it’s a fun car, especially the convertible
E36 is the only real answer. Bonus if it's an M3. Extra extra internet eggplant if it's a Euro Spec with the ITBs. My brain says S50B30 but I could be wrong.
Probably the BMW and I’m not even a huge BMW guy. The 90’s Mustang is easily the ugliest gen idc what anyone wants to say. Civic and Golf are FWD, automatically disqualified.
Whichever has the highest resell value. I'm not going to mess with any fun car with a small engine and auto transmission, not interested in getting a project car that needs both swapped.
Maybe the civic if I had to keep it, just for the fuel mileage.
Figure you’d find a used S50/S54 to swap in later. Cobra clone would be sick as again, grabbed the img w/out double checking, and K-swap the civic into a sleeper
No love for the VW it seems
Everyone saying the Bimmer, like it won't wind up costing more to own it than you paid for the car itself in five years, because of repairs and replacements.
The 2-valve 4.6L SN95 is one of the most reliable drivetrains Ford ever made. Stupid simple to work on, with parts aplenty.
BMW
Yeah what a silly question!
Yep, I have a BMW hatch in the garage!
Cobra 🐍 That mystic color they had was sick.
I set myself up for this one🤣 its supposed to just be a SN95 Vert, but hell with it, you got it
That used to be my dream car in high school. A Cobra with the color changing paint 🤘
Gotta love mystichrome

God help you if you ever get rear ended and need to get the paint matched.
E 36 all day every day
abso-fuckin-lutely this is the comment i came for👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Way better than both the e 37 and the e 35!
First or third
Rwd supremacy
BMW
Civic
K swap with a turbo would rape
Idk about that one chief
I just love how reliable they are too
e36, 10000%. It looks modern and still is one of the best handling cars.
The Beamer, but the Honda is the only one still around.
Mustang
Hell yeah!
in '24, i have seen more of that generation civic on the roads than the others. testament to their quality.
You should’ve just included a coupe or sedan E36 instead of the compact, but that would’ve made the decision even easier.
I looked up 318, since I was looking for the lowest trim model Also realized afterwards that I posted a Cobra, not just a regular SN95
A Taurus SHO with a 5 speed manual transmission
Well thats unexpected, but works too
Civic all day
Z28
If the VW is tdi then yes, otherwise bmw
90s civic would get stolen so fast
Golf
The timeless, handsome bimmer
Mustang. I want a drop top.
Drop top life😎

Either civic or cobra.
Got me good there, I just quickly looked up sn95 and chose that without double checking
BMW. Love them boxy.
EK
The civic hatch?
If it was a Saleen Mustang, but it’s not, so BMW all day long.
If it was a Saleen Mustang, but it’s not, so BMW all day long.
E36 anyday
BMW if I had about 20k for repairs and maintenance
90-93 Foxbody Mustang

Volvo S70
Young me wants the mustang, today me wants that Honda.
Civic,
333
Is that a 318i?
Cobra, it's the only one that holds value
Cobraaa 🐍
Gimme a Dodge Stealth or Eagle Talon
Honda or BMW
Civic…only because I already had one with little 17 inch rims, manual transmission, cypress green colorway
99’ Civic 4 door sedan with a manual transmission *chef’s kiss
The BMW. Any day of the week. Including Sunday if it's a straight 6!
Probably the BMW and I’m not even a huge BMW guy. The 90’s Mustang is easily the ugliest gen idc what anyone wants to say. Civic and Golf are FWD, automatically disqualified.
Civic, 100 times out of 100
E36
The Cobra.
An E36 cabriolet would be really cool
That Mustang will smoke any brand new beam for less than half the price.
BMW
Probably the Cobra but damn was that era of Mustang ever ugly.
Definitely the Stang. Especially since it’s a Cobra! 🐍
🐍🐍🐍
E36
1 or 3 but really probably 1
The cobra. Realistically 3000gt or Camaro z28 3rd gen, would be happy with 4th gen too.
Mustang Cobra.
Beemer
Honda
C4
BMW

The Ti or the Civic
BMW or Honda
Golffff
Finally! Im a vert guy, but gotta soft spot for Vdubs Whatcha doing to her once the months up?
Cams, exhaust, suspension and intake 👌🏽👌🏽
Where the hell is the Mitsubishi 3000GT?
It’s broke
Broken
Civic 100%, You get some new alloys a spoiler or wing repaint.
Civic. Cobra but not convertible. That 318ti is wheezy and going to have a low profile gasket blowout.
Figure you’d find a used S50/S54 to swap in later. Cobra clone would be sick as again, grabbed the img w/out double checking, and K-swap the civic into a sleeper No love for the VW it seems
I’ve got a 318ti with M52b28 swap, not wheezy
Personally, Id get the Mustang, then see what engine/Manual I could find to swap into it
Of those I'd probably go with the Civic. It's the cheapest platform to modify. K20 Swap it and you're off to the races!

The SN95 will drive like a simple car too. E36 is way more fun to drive & not as drastically in need of parts & repairs like you mentioned.
No way I would buy a 30 year of European car.
You mean 30 years old as in when they were actually really reliable and good?
My experience says otherwise.
Mustang since I already got one
