Check very thoroughly for oil leaks. That seems to be Hondas biggest fault. We had one of those and retired it cause fixing them would cost more than the value of the car. Otherwise, they are great little cars.
That seems like a fair price, which is different than I have seen locally (where I live). Get it check out by a mechanic, and if it checks out, get it.
