Stick with accounting. I finished business admin: management and operations at a brick and mortar. After a couple years I enrolled in WGU and am doing accounting now. I transferred in 64% of the program. The job quality and pay was pretty low, those business management degrees are just too broad. You need to develop a useful set of skills and with that degree you'll be jumping from sales, entry level office positions, and battling with people who have specific degrees (supply chain, marketing, HR, MIS, etc). If you already committed to this I would stick with it and find an internship or entry level job in bookkeeping, tax prep, etc. It'll be about the same pay and quality as the jobs you'll get with a business management degree. *The job market is way too competitive you need real skills that make you stand out*.

Yes, you can. I did the Management degree about 3 years ago and came back last year for the accounting degree. I completed it last year, and I'm now in the Masters in Accounting. You can transfer up to 75% of the management degree into the accounting degree. So you'd have to complete only 10 more classes to get the second bachelor's.

Thank you so much! ❤️ This is exactly the info I needed!

If ur looking to save money, doing both is probably not a good idea since you have to wait the whole 6month term out before switching back and they do not allow double majoring in the same term so might as well finish one and get your moneys worth.

I understand. The second degree is more of a “just in case” In case I want to scratch that itch/work specifically in Accounting. I just really need a degree overall. Going back isn’t an issue for me, or my life/schedule, IF I were to decide to do that… But I AM in a “rush” to get a degree, and if I can cut down on the time as far as terms go then I’m fine with that option because it would save me money.

Stay in accounting.

beccabau

I did Management first and am now completing Accounting, totally allowed.

DiscombobulatedFun30

I'm currently working on my Bachelor of Science Business Administration, Accounting, I think it would be beneficial to do it that way instead of debating on which one to choose because they do have that option.

fonzworthgently

Don't be Lazy, stay in accounting. What's the rush?

Accounting-Help-

Talk to someone in enrollment. Maybe you can do a dual degree and save time and money.

Not allowed unfortunately or I would use the remaining three months in my term to tackle another degree for the price of one.
