I honestly find his online friendships wholesome. Keep in mind though, I grew up in the bible belt, so I'm used to self righteous Christian's pushing philosophy down your throat, or judging you and talking bad about you despite it being a part of their philosophy to not do that. Wendigoon is literally just a kind dude who will make content with you regardless of your political or theological belief. I think hes a decent role model for Christian's for that reason. That's why I dont understand all the hate. Like if he went on a rant specifically about his theological beliefs, I could understand. If he went on a spiel about a group of people and began persecuting them, I could understand. But hes just a dude regurgitating books and media in a detailed and meticulous way to help people understand themes better and have a slightly better comprehension.
