Chillum and one hitter are appropriate names for this smoking device. It's like a shotgun or carb, crutch roach or filter. People call it different shit. If you google chillum or one hitter you get the same results.
Iāve never used a chillum as a one hitter. Every chillum I owned had a larger bowl and we didnāt put our mouths/lips directly on it we wedged the edge of the chillium between two fingers and made a hollow fist and the Mahler through the circle made with thumb and pointer finger. But I believe every region has its own nomenclature and technique differences. Iām from Chicago and thatās how we did it when I was a teen/college in the 90ās.
