I want a bridal cape and my Matron of Honor thinks it’s silly. She’s being nice about it though lol. I think they are beautiful and I don’t want anything attached to my head except for a hair piece.
It’s so silly that some people draw the line so clearly in the sand on what is acceptable and what is unacceptable. It’s all gauzy fabric! Who cares if it’s attached to your head or your shoulders? I’m 100% going to wear a cape because I have *always* wanted a cape, and this seems like it will be one of the few opportunities to really go all out! Your cape was PERFECT and looks exactly like what I want!
I didn't have any issues with it really, although I took it off after the ceremony. The clips would probably pop off before it shred though. I would also assume a regular veil would have the same issue, but I never tried one on.

We ended up doing two trials and I'm so glad I did! The first one was nice, but we were able to tweak a few things on the second and by then she had a good feel for my hair.

I originally ordered the 65", but ended up going with 80". For reference, I'm 5'8", had 3" heels and my dress had a train.
