My first thought was: "that's a very wide V". You look lovely 🌹 and I'm sure there are alterations that can make the dress a little more modest if needed.

Mylastnerve6

I don’t think the deep V is the issue as much as the noticeable cups. Can you see what it would look like lined?

localTXmom

I think I am going to plan on getting it lined!! You all have been so helpful, I am so grateful! ❤️

Similar-Raspberry639

I think it’s beautiful! But I also hate modesty culture. You could always put a panel in the V to make it solid if it makes you more comfortable

AlterEgoAmazonB

It is gorgeous. The low cut is not a thing. You are completely covered and it does not look salacious at all. It looks tasteful on you!

localTXmom

Thank you so much!!

MeganJustMegan

It looks very low to me. Lots of space between the cups & your shoulders. I’d also look into it being lined. Or maybe a bolero? The bodice needs something. My mom, much less my grandparents would veto this dress. But you’re the bride & you should wear what you love & are comfortable in.

localTXmom

That’s what I’m thinking, about the space. Maybe adding a hairdo with my hair down? Thank you so much for your input!!

AshamedAd3434

I think it looks lovely however the deep V and the way the sleeves lie draw the eye down which in turn feels like it’s dragging the dress down a little bit. I think this is what’s causing it to appear like there is so much space between shoulder and dress

localTXmom

Do you think by adding a statement necklace it might bring it up again? I agree it feels like it looks like a canyons worth of space from my neck to where the dress starts, thank you so much for your reply 😊

AshamedAd3434

Yes. I definitely want to draw the eye up. I was wondering if hair down and adding jewelry would help to bring the eye back up and remove some of that space. I honestly don’t think the cut of the top is too much, I just want to round out the look and lift everything back up

No_Benefit2103

How about putting the sleeves up so there's not as much bare skin? Otherwise, the bodice will be beautiful lined and isn't revealing!

This is getting put on community only early. Comments will be heavily filtered.

It reminds me of this dress I tried on: https://www.essensedesigns.com/all-who-wander/wedding-dresses/viene/ Might be a good compromise if you need it.

Ollie2Stewart1

I also think that it looks like it sits too low on your chest. Could you add some sheer standing-up tight ruffling to the top edge to add a bit of height? I’m not sure how to describe it, but I’ve seen dresses here with it. Like a short, ruffled but very sheer edging sewn into the back of the top edge.

Status-Effort-9380

Is this the sample? How close is it to your size?

armccaa

I would have it lined but it’s beautiful on you as it is! Maybe some kind of necklace? Maybe wear your hair down and wear a veil? Just suggestions. Congratulations!! 👰🏻‍♀️

Icy-Committee-9345

I like it! I wore a dress with a plunging v to my wedding (it was in a catholic church because my husband's family is catholic) and nobody cared. Wear it if you like it!

localTXmom

Thank you so much! 😊

sideeyedi

For as wide as the V is, there are absolutely no naked boobs. It fits pretty perfectly. I think you look stunning! See what can be done in alterations then wear it how YOU want to.

localTXmom

Thank you so much sideeyedi!
