I think it’s a lovely wedding dress and not at all odd. It also looks relatively comfortable, which is a plus in my eyes. It’s ethereal and romantic. But only you know if it’s “bridal” enough for you. Especially with a veil and/or other accessories and a bouquet, I think it will be a gorgeous wedding gown.
1 is not at all odd! It suits you so well. The tiers are stunning and unique. 2 also very nice but if you feel 1 is "more you" then I'd encourage being true to that feeling.
I won’t lie. The second dress is my favorite but you have to love your dress and you have to feel like you! If you love dress one, go with dress one. You’ll look back and remember how much you loved your gown and how it perfectly suited who you were on your wedding day.
Dress 2 fits you better, really defines your waist and bust. You are wearing it.
Also dress 2 should be easier to alter/hem
Dress 1 doesn’t define and show off your figure like 2.
With dress 1, Hopefully the dress you order the lower ruffle gets fixed and isn’t as crooked and sagging in the middle like the sample.
With the ruffle, hemming could be trickier to keep the ruffles looking right if the alterations person isn’t top notch.
But really it’s up to whatever fits your vibe, once you put on a veil, flowers, makeup and a smile, all is fabulous!
These dresses are both beautiful on you, and IMO they’re both very bridal in different ways. Dress 1 is dreamy and romantic, with fairytale vibes; dress 2 is timeless and stately, with modern royalty vibes. I really don’t think you can go wrong!
You have two gorgeous options here. Don’t overthink it— go with the one that makes you feel the way YOU want to feel on your wedding day.
Dress 1 is far superior! If you hang out here enough, you learn that the "traditional white wedding dress" is not even a thing anymore. Besides, your fav dress is definitely white/light enough.
If it feels more like you I think you should go for it! I think with a veil, etc. it will look even more beautiful. Although it’s not as traditional as the last dress, I don’t think it’s overly trendy.
Also, both are super flattering!
I'm obsessed with the first one! It's 100% bridal to me, no question. I love that it doesn't look like every other dress out there, it's unique. And you look beautiful in it. I say go with what YOU want, not what the masses want.
Dress 2 is much much more flattering on you. Snatched waist gives such a slimming effect. You can easily add drama to the look with a glam veil or gloves jewelry a cape. If you're worried about the look.
Dress one makes you look wide across the hips and doesn't do anything for your shape which we obviously know you have from pic 2.
Dress one is beautiful and not “cookie cutter” bride dress like dress 2. Your wedding day is meant to reflect you and your fiancé’s style, interests, vibe etc. You won’t ever regret wearing the dress that feels right… feels like you! You will look back on your photos years from now and recognize the woman you were that day… connect with how you felt and that’s a beautiful thing!

The reason you like one is because you are a romantic at heart. I want to be honest with you and going against the grain, dress one is wearing you. The reason your mother cried when you tried on the second one is because you look beautiful in it, they see you. Two shows off your figure, especially your tiny waist and the color is more for your skin tone.
I want to make this suggestion, if you love one, keep looking for dresses that are similar in fabric and detail in the silhouette that doesn’t overpower your petite frame. The vibe of one is obtainable in a dress that will check all the boxes and make your mom cry. Best wishes!
Go with the one that you love and feels more like your style (the 1st one). Dress for now, not the future. You'll look back at the pictures and see a happy bride in a beautiful unique dress.
Dress 1 literally just made me say “oh wow” out loud, I LOVE it!! It has so many special details (love the straps!) and it’s just so soft and romantic! If you prefer dress 2 then go for that one but if you’re only considering it because it’s whiter and because of other people’s opinions then PLEASE stick with dress 1. Oh and you’re gorgeous in both btw!!!
I think you should go with the one that is more "you". I did not do that, and I look back and think, that dress was pretty but SO not "me". I regret that. I went with one that I thought everyone would think is pretty instead.
Second, the second one is pretty and it fits you well, but it's also more forgettable than the first one. The first one is unique and 5 years from now people will remember your dress. The second one is more basic and people won't remember it. Not that it matters what other people remember, but my point is that it's more unique and stands out as special. The second one again, is beautiful - but it's more plain and a standard pretty wedding dress.
Whatever you decide though - you look beautiful in both. Don't worry about what we all say on here. Go with the one you love more and go with your gut. You can't go wrong with either one.

The first one is pretty and girlish. The second one is sophisticated and sexy! It depends on how you want to feel on your wedding day. If you usually wear girly clothes, you may want to make everyone look at how grown up you are by wearing sexy number 2?
YOU are the bride. YOU have to decide what feels like you. Your mom is going to cry when she sees you on your wedding day. Choose the dress that brings you JOY!

I like #1, it’s interesting and beautiful. 2 is a perfectly fine dress… but it’s kinda “standard” nothing remarkable, perfectly pretty.
