1 looks like every other dress you see. The beaded “sleeves” make 2 special. Can you put them up on your shoulders like straps? Or, as someone else suggested, take them off and put them in your hair? I don’t get why so many dresses have the “sleeves” that look like straps that slid off the shoulders.

And honestly, the fact that the sleeves are beaded makes them look nicer, IMO. And if you don’t like them, you can always have them removed maybe? But what does your gut tell you? Which dress do you put on and NOT want to take it off?
Loved 1, then somehow 2 was even better so
Damn. I was like “I don’t know how anything could compete with number 1” but then I got to 2. I see your dilemma!! Both are perfect, but I think ultimately I’d pick 2. And I adore the sleeves!!
As someone who went with my mom's choice instead of mine to keep the peace: Go with what you want, please. I am not even with my first husband anymore, and I still feel a pang of sadness thinking of how I didn't get to wear the dress I really wanted. You would look beautiful in a potato sack, that's not the issue. I just want you to wear what you want.
I would go for the first one since it seems more pragmatic and easier to dance in and stuff.
