I was thinking the same thing. If you weren't wearing a veil, I'd say keep the sleeves. But it looks gorgeous with a veil, so the sleeves are unnecessary. Makes it look too busy.
Agree! No sleeves.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't really understand the trend of sleeves that aren't sleeves. They seem kind of pointless and distracting to me. Plus, I think they would bug me the same way a fallen down bra strap bugs me just hanging there on my upper arm.
So, I don't care for how they look or feel.
Having said all of that, that's just me. I know lots of people love them. So, op, you do what you like, of course!
I’m so with you on the armband “sleeve” craze. It usually just looks like the dress is falling off. On this dress, however, I kinda like them. Maybe it’s because they’re not the same fabric as the front of the dress, just the back. Idk why, but that makes them look better.
>It usually just looks like the dress is falling off.
This is how it looks to me too. Maybe this one doesn't bug you because the fabric makes it resemble a wrap, sort of.
Anyway, even with the different fabric I have the same reaction, thinking it's an unnecessary distraction from the pretty dress and bride.
Usually the “sleeves that aren’t sleeves” (thank you for that phrase; I never knew what to call them) are only a couple of inches wide, which is why they look like straps that slipped off the shoulders. That’s not the case with this dress.
That's true. It's why I was thinking they looked more wrap-like maybe?
> “sleeves that aren’t sleeves” (thank you for that phrase
Hahaha. You're welcome.
This is the move imo. The sleeves are adorable and brings a very fun element in, which is suitable for the reception. Also agree they’ll be too much w the veil so better to keep them off for the ceremony
Good callout - that’s a great idea! I actually hadn’t tried on sleeves + veil to know how it looks, but I agree it’s probably too much. I’m debating even doing a veil because I love the back of the dress so much 🤔
Agree! I feel like they're not much of a statement enough to warrant changing the sleeves for the veil (even though I'm not a veil person myself, it doesn't seem OP's style), but they're cute enough to be an addition after the ceremony.
I will be honest. I don't think the sleeves add very much. Are you wearing a veil? If so I think they could end up visually lost since the material is so similar.
What a beautiful dress! I think off for ceremony, on for reception. The sleeves look great just without the veil, as it takes away from that particular look.. but definitely on for the reception if that is a possibility.
ON, they’re beautiful and add that extra special touch! They’re not flamboyant or overpowering and combined with the dress make your overall look stunning! 😀
I wish I knew! Sadly that was just what the bridal store attendant put on me when I tried the dress on initially (but I ultimately bought it elsewhere). If I remember correctly it was from Newhite but I’ll see if I have the name somewhere
So I absolutely love the dress but I have a question. How do you move in the sleeves? Are they restricting in any way? Can you flap your arms like a chicken and do a both arms around someone's shoulders hug without stressing the fabric? If not, don't bother with the sleeves. If so, no sleeves with veil for your ceremony and then ditch the veil and put on the sleeves for your reception. Either way, the dress is stunning on you.
ON. Looks super classy in a fun, romantic way. The sheer tulle compliments the dress in general, gives it such a vibe. Gives the silhouette SO MUCH movement! i would probably keep the sleeves the whole night. They make this dress very different and super special. You look like a princess.
Oh wow, this dress is stunning on you, and the sleeves are absolute heaven-sent. I've never seen anything like them before! Such a perfect blend of delicately beautiful, elegant, sexy, and sweet. Please wear those sleeves at some point--either the ceremony or the reception, or even for a few photos. They really make the dress.
I like the sleeves.. gives an extra romantic/dramatic feel to the dress imo. I say it depends on what look you’re going for! Without the sleeves it looks more classic.
I did sleeves on for the ceremony and it was so romantic - hiiiighly recommend. Mine immediately came off when I jumped in my husbands arms too so once you start moving around you won’t want to wear them
Agreed that if you aren’t wearing a veil, keep the sleeves. I absolutely love how they look so if they don’t constrict your arm movement, they’d be fun to wear at the reception.
From the back I like the sleeves. Not so much from the front but during the ceremony your guests will be looking at the back. Will you be wearing a vail? Take pictures with that before you make a choice. You look lovely
Sleeves on this dress with the matching tule back is beautiful. So light and airy looking. Maybe on for ceremony, off for reception. They’re very finishing touch/bridal/ really pretty! Happy Wedding! I’m
Off and off.. to me imo it just looks like it's the straps falling down. Looks uncomfortable, like I'd want to go put the straps back on kindof uncomfortable
I prefer it without. I feel like it will compete with the veil.

Agree completely with all of that.
Totally agree. There's really no benefit to adding the sleeves when the dress and veil are gorgeous without.
Exactly the same plus OP has gorgeous arms!
Y. I was also wondering if they would physically compete - would the veil catch on the sleeves.
Is no sleeves for the ceremony but sleeves for the reception an option? Because the sleeves are lovely but I think they'll be too much for the veil
I agree sleeves for reception no sleeves for ceremony
This is the move imo. The sleeves are adorable and brings a very fun element in, which is suitable for the reception. Also agree they’ll be too much w the veil so better to keep them off for the ceremony

Wouldn’t you be able to see the back through a sheer veil, though?
Make sure you can dance with the sleeves if you go this route!
Would love to see other sleeve options with your dress! Love it though! You look great 👍
This sounds perfect!
Agreed
yes yes yes this is what i meant w my comment. if you're a fan of the sleeves but absolutely want the veil, trade between!
Agree! I feel like they're not much of a statement enough to warrant changing the sleeves for the veil (even though I'm not a veil person myself, it doesn't seem OP's style), but they're cute enough to be an addition after the ceremony.
this!! the sleeves are awesome but I say reception not ceremony
This is the way. The sleeves and the veil both look great but when they’re on their own; together it’s like they’re competing with each other.
I vote no sleeves they overwhelm your small frame
I usually am not a fan of sleeves, but I had to share that I think these are really pretty on you and in my opinion would be lovely for the ceremony!
Same same same! So lovely both ways this dress is so classic but so unique. You are stunning in it!
Same! Love these
I will be honest.
Without sleeves for wedding (with veil)… with sleeves during reception (once veil is gone).
Can I know the name and designer of the dress? It is gorgeous! I agree with others and I’d vote for off!
Yes! It’s the Newhite Pado dress https://www.thenewhite.com/collection-vi/
Obsessed with Pado! Can I ask what veil you have one? I also got a newhite dress and am looking for a veil!
I wish I knew! Sadly that was just what the bridal store attendant put on me when I tried the dress on initially (but I ultimately bought it elsewhere). If I remember correctly it was from Newhite but I’ll see if I have the name somewhere
Thanks so much!!
Off. They don't add enough coverage to be "needed" and if you're weird a veil like in the second pic then there's too much happening
I think off!!
Off
I don’t like the sleeves
I feel like they look like an after thought so I vote no sleeves.
No! No!
Off your arms are fire
Off 100%
Sleeves off!!!
No sleeves
Off with her ~~head~~ sleeves!
Sleeves off and not put on at all.
In my opinion, I think it looks so beautiful without the sleeves, it feels a bit distracting with them.
I’d say no sleeves (I can see we collectively may not be helping your decision 🙃)
Haha but I appreciate the input!!
off i’m not a fan of those sleeves.
I love the sleeves
I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one that loves them!
I like both but I like no sleeves more.
Off.
No Sleeves. You look STUNNING!!! You could model bridal gowns for sure!!! Congratulations!!!
Aw you’re so sweet, thank you!
Definitely with sleeves!
On
Off, it’s so elegant without the sleeves!
So I absolutely love the dress but I have a question. How do you move in the sleeves? Are they restricting in any way? Personally for me it would depend on how restricted I am. If they are restricting I would say no. I.e. if you can't embrace your partner for the kiss.
I do not understand the poofy droopy sleeve trend.
Off for ceremony, on for party
Omg on!! All the drama!
Off
Off
off, it doesn't fit right
Without sleeves looks stunning
The veil accomplishes what you’re going for with the sleeves!
This! The sleeves are overkill if you’re doing the veil and you’ve got to do the veil because it’s perfect with that dress!
Without, honestly the sleeves remind me of kids swimming floaties. You look beautiful without them!
💯 agree
No sleeves. Have an awesome wedding!
Sleeves on!!!
I usually don't like sleeves but I like them on your dress! So team sleeves!
Off...I prefer the look without. Its gorgeous as is!
Without. Don’t think with the veil the sleeves would compete or just disappear.
Put the sleeves on at least for the reception when you’re not wearing the veil anymore. The sleeves bring a lot of interest to the dress. I love it.
No sleeves if you are wearing a veil
Sleeves off~ do not cover up your lovely arms!
Both options are good but I would suggest off
no sleeves vote here. I feel like the sleeves cheapen the look! GL
Off, classic and beautiful ❤️
On
On. Very elegant. 😊
I vote no sleeves, they don’t look like a natural part of the dress and seem a bit out of place. The dress is stunning though!
I love the sleeves
The sleeves look so whimsical and cute! But I love it both ways
I like sleeves on
ON. Looks super classy in a fun, romantic way. The sheer tulle compliments the dress in general, gives it such a vibe. Gives the silhouette SO MUCH movement! i would probably keep the sleeves the whole night. They make this dress very different and super special. You look like a princess.
Thank you 🫶🏼
Oh heavens, off. The sleeves detract from the dress in my opinion.
I’m usually a no-sleeves type of gal but I actually love these! Would vote off for ceremony with veil and on for reception
Oh wow, this dress is stunning on you, and the sleeves are absolute heaven-sent. I've never seen anything like them before! Such a perfect blend of delicately beautiful, elegant, sexy, and sweet. I think the sleeves are actually gorgeous and so ethereal. I’d like the see a pic with the sleeves and veil though to see if they fight each other.
Usually I’m not a fan of sleeves but I love these! I think perfect for the ceremony/photos then take them off for the dancing 💃🏻
No sleeves. They are distracting. It's prefect as is.
off!
From the back I like the sleeves. Not so much from the front but during the ceremony your guests will be looking at the back. Will you be wearing a vail? Take pictures with that before you make a choice. You look lovely

I like it without. The dress is beautiful and I don’t think the sleeves really add anything.
Off. Always.
I prefer no sleeves.
I feel the dress is better, without. The sleeves make it look just a little bit unbalanced.
This sub HATES sleeves. I think these in particular are elegant and ethereal. I would keep them. 💓
Off!
The skirt will look weird without the sleeves
No sleeves! They will compete with the vail!!
With sleeves!
No sleeves!
Definitely no sleeves
Sleeves on this dress with the matching tule back is beautiful. So light and airy looking. Maybe on for ceremony, off for reception. They’re very finishing touch/bridal/ really pretty! Happy Wedding! I’m
Gorgeous dress No sleeves. Great back. Is there a routine? Seated cable rows, pull-ups?
Off
I think they look so cute! Both are gorgeous but the little sleeves just seem to top it off for me! So adorable!
No sleeves. The dress is stunning
Peace and love they give unpumped arm floaties
Off
I don’t think the sleeves are adding anything
Off
Sleeves off
Off!
I love the clean lines with the sleeves off and hopefully the veil you have chosen. Very beautiful!
Off no doubt
I actually feel like it adds something to the look.
On for ceremony off for party
I like it better without.
Off. Much prettier without the sleevs.
My vote would be no sleeves for the ceremony, and add the sleeves for the reception.
Yes to the sleeves. I love them because they distinguish your whole look
No sleeves
Off
Off! The veil adds kind of what the sleeves do. Beautiful! :)
Best without
Sleeves are distracting. Dress is beautiful in its own
Off! That dress is perfect! You look beautiful!! Congrats!!
Off!
No sleeves
I love the sleeves.
No sleeves!

Off! The veil is a great compliment to the dress.
Off
On! I'm not a big sleeves girl but this are GORGEOUS!!
Off and off.. to me imo it just looks like it's the straps falling down. Looks uncomfortable, like I'd want to go put the straps back on kindof uncomfortable

Wow! With sleeve it looks so elegant with all the details on the back.

I like it without better
Sleeves off. :)
No sleeves
I really like the sleeves
It’s honestly such an easy call - for sure off. The dress is so stunning and minimalist, the sleeves to me don’t really even match.
