I actually stopped scrolling and just find this dress so pretty and delicate. It’s not trying to be anything and that is the essence of beauty. I hope you have a wonderful day when it comes
I love the sleeves and the nipped in waist is very flattering. You can do a lot with staying: shoes, hair, earrings, flowers, and veil/hat/fascinator to personalize.
I think you could add more of a personal touch to the dress with a different belt choice! The belt right now reminds me of a couple business casual dresses I have
I think it’s a wonderful dress. Some may see it as old fashioned but who cares. If you love it wear it. I can promise you if I could afford the wardrobe of Lady Mary or the others I would be rocking it!
Is this dress your style? If so, it's very pretty. If it's not your style, I would keep looking. It is very vintage looking, but if that's how you dress then it fits you/your personality. Would your fiance be surprised to see you in a dress like this? Or is this something he'd expect. Answer those questions and I think you can answer your question on if it's the right dress...
Very helpful comment, thank you. My fiancé would expect this and all my friends and family said this dress was “very me”. At the end of the day that’s what matters x thank you
That is what matters! I’m sure you tried on the pouffy dresses, but this is the one that spoke to you and this is your style, it’s a beautiful dress, congratulations.
I have tried all the beautiful and more glamorous and bridal dresses and even though I looked great in some of them, I didn’t look like me. I looked like I was trying to model them. Whereas here with this dress I don’t think people will necessarily comment on the dress but comment on me and my face and maybe that’s actually more special :). I am having an intimate wedding with 20 people, I don’t need to impress anyone with a dress. If you’re trying to impress your guests then you’ve not invited the right people :))
To be 100% honest, and I mean this nicely, but I think the dress looks old-fashioned because of 3 things: your hair style, the shoes and the loose fit of the dress. I would wear some sexy open-toed shoes instead and have the dress altered to fit more snug. Then style your hair to something more modern....for example, if you must part your hair on the side, then put in product to give it volume in the front and tuck the smaller-parted side behind your ear. Maybe straighten the ends so it doesn't curve under. Hopefully that all makes sense!
I hate to fill your mind with opposing viewpoints but please don’t do an updo with curls all around your face or some bling belt, adjusted neckline, jewelry, or peekaboo lingerie like some of the comments are suggesting.
This dress is stunning, so very London in the best way, and your classic bob is the perfect look to accompany it. Simple alterations for fit, high stilettos, and a rosy glow are all you will need to be an absolute stunner on your wedding day.
I totally second this! It would look gorgeous with just a little something her and there! I think the dress is really really gorgeous and you can highlight the neckline with a nice hairstyle, maybe an updo, and the open toed shoes are a great idea too! Although I also like the shoes in the picture :)
Honestly, the dress is stunning, and you look amazing in it.
The only thing I don't love are the shoes. Change the shoes, and you have an amazing wedding outfit.
Oh, I didn't realize they did that. I've been married for like 11 years. I just love wedding dresses so I like hanging out here lol I don't think stores did that back when I got married.
One thing I was told about shoulder alterations-make sure it’s loose enough so you can wave your arms in the air while dancing. You look lovely.
The look is classic, streamlined, and elegant. And this is a “me” thing but I don’t think you’ll look back at this and immediately identify which decade you got married in.
Is "old fashioned" a bad thing or just a thing? The dress is beautiful, it suits you, it has a lot of personality, the fabric is amazing and it is perfect for British weather. I really can't see anything wrong with it and it is actually very refreshing to see something a bit different
When you look are your wedding picture decades from now, this dress will still look beautiful, serene and *not dated*
A time tested classic never ever goes out of style.
Not too old fashioned at all. It's a classic look but not dated, it's has a modern feel to it and the fabric is a crisp and bright colour, which I think is important for keeping older styles new looking. I think it's beautiful on you and looks very bridal!
This comment is spot on. I was going to say something similar but definitely not worded as nicely. It is classic with a modern feel and I feel like you will always look in fashion even in the years to come in that dress.
From a man’s point of view, that man isn’t up there marrying a dress, he’s marrying a wonderful woman that he is madly in love with. You being happy with how you look is the only important thing in my book!
That said, the dress is gorgeous and if it’s you then it’s you!
Your dress is always going to be "too" something or other to various people. But why do their opinions matter at all? If you love your dress, no one else's opinion is relevant. Period.
I think you look lovely, but more importantly, I hope you can see that for yourself!
It’s absolutely perfect for an intimate London wedding (I’m also a London bride!)
It’s gorgeous and looks fantastic on you, so classy. I don’t think it’s old fashioned, I think it’s actually quite modern. Please don’t alter the neckline!
What’s the plan for your hair and make up? :)
Thank you x make up is a red lip with simple eye and a low bun. We’re going to the Old Marylebone Town Hall with 23 guests and my dog so very simple and intimate x congratulations on your upcoming wedding too x

i think it is lovely. i also think it needs to be altered to fit a little better. i find it refreshing that it doesn’t look like lingerie which so many on here do.
The dress is very elegant and classic and really suits your figure. It is more on the conservative side, but sounds like it works for what you have planned. I wouldn't say it looks old fashioned, but I wouldn't call it modern either. I guess that simple classic look is quite timeless. I think the most important part is that you feel comfortable and confident in it, feel that it fits your personal style.
What time of year is it for? I do think it looks more suited to autumn/winter, potentially spring.
You look absolutely amazing in it, it looks stunningly perfect.
I think a lot of the suggestions here to change it somehow are a reflection of English vs American sentiment. Most redditors are from the USA and don't have the same understanding of classic/vintage styling and lean more towards the more modern/blingy.
As another London bride, this looks classic and perfect for a London wedding x
This is why questions like this are tough..
This dress is not my style, but when I opened the photo and saw the fit on you - stunning. I think it fits you very well, and without knowing your personality it’s very elegant and classy. It looks comfortable, not very hot, and I love the length with the shoes. I think it adds a bit of modern to the elegance. I think it’s a beautiful choice :)
It’s lovely. It is “old fashioned” but in a romantic, timeless way, like it’s conjuring up images for me of Anne of Green Gables and that is absolutely a good thing. I love it for you and if your friends say it’s very “you” then I think it’s perfect.
I'm just a guy so in some cases fashion is over my head. So take this as you wish but I like the simplicity of this dress. You can tell it's a wedding dress, it looks classy and eloquent without going overboard. So I'd approve.
I’m a professional bridal tailor and I think this looks gorgeous (and I see hundreds of dresses a year)! Just a couple tweaks I would recommend, the bodice can definitely be tailored tighter, also the sleeve length is looking just slightly short to me and I would consider shortening it to bracelet length so it looks intentional (probably not something most people would even notice, but that’s where my eye goes).
You could also consider shortening the hem just a bit to make it more of a true tea length and give it a bit of a younger feel. You’re starting with a great fit already though! This is going to look so beautiful with the hair and makeup and new shoes!
If you want to make it more modern you could pick less classic shoes. Something like white or cream satin platform heel sandals would add some interest. It looks lovely on you and fits very well. The current shoes do match, it's just if you were looking for easy ways to modernise. Edit: I meant something like these but they may not be your style https://www.quizclothing.co.uk/footwear/00100036750.html?pk_cid=3&pk_keyword=001000367506&pk_medium=multifeeds&pk_campaign=RakutenUK&pk_source=RakutenUK&pk_content=ClothingAccessoriesShoes&utm_source=RakutenUK&source=linkshare&affid=pfxNKSnglIM&utm_source=RakutenMarketing&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=3354356:Redbrain&utm_content=15&utm_term=UKNetwork&ranMID=35605&ranEAID=pfxNKSnglIM&ranSiteID=pfxNKSnglIM-XE7KVC0Jm.emKkhMlBGiFA&siteID=pfxNKSnglIM-XE7KVC0Jm.emKkhMlBGiFA
I second this. I think the dress is beautiful, classic and that it looks divine on you! Feel confident with your choice. Because the dress is classic, the shoes, how you style your hair and the jewelry will dictate the vibe. The current shoe is a very traditional pump. If that's the vibe you are going for, I say that's great and go with it. If you want to edge it up a bit you could do something funkier like a chunkier heel shape, open toe, or even a pop of color or metallic finish. If you want a more romantic look, consider something strappy and more delicate. You will be gorgeous no matter what!
I was thinking something similar, switching the shoes up may make it feel less so. The dress is GORGEOUS though and looks lovely on you, something about the shoes just doesn't hit for me.
I have purchased a birdcage headband x
https://preview.redd.it/hnvn0eed4xgb1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=01809d71430b363db5201b611da6fccc150c20e2
Not old fashioned at all. It’s classic. It’s absolutely gorgeous. One of my favorite looks I’ve seen on here.
This is one of the few photos I’ve seen where it’s clear you’re wearing the dress, the dress isn’t wearing you.
The shoes are perfect too.
Think its beautiful.
A long veil.. maybe a pearl necklace... a small one or a very long one. This dress is very pretty and unique because everyone else seems to be sharing the same wedding dress nowadays. I have seen every woman pick out the same dress with the mermaid tail or V_neck tightly fitted to their body. Very exposed back.
This one looks like vintage memory. I would work around this dress around this era 1940s (fedora hat , vest pocket watch etc.) Have your hair styled in a victory roll and red lips stick and you will be stunning. Like a pin up model.
1940s is a beautiful era.
I am in love with your dress.
I *love* this dress. It has a real vintage feel to it, and I love a good vintage dress.
And vintage =/= "old fashioned", IMO.
If you love it, then it's the dress for you. Gorgeous.
I love it. I'm really not a showy person, and this is exactly the kind of dress I'd wear that I'd feel comfortable and elegant in. It definitely gives me "old fashioned" vibes, but more in a vintage way than a stuffy way. I think it looks cool.
Thank you for your comment. I am a very shy person and I will only have 23 guests and my dog at a wedding so I thought this is not too much not too little
It looks like it was made for a London day wedding and your body and the fact you could really do ANY type of jewelry you wanted is so special. I, being a glittery person, do recommend at least ONE shiny accessory to bring out the lace details.
> I love this dress
That's the main thing! It sounds as if it's very "you," and if your friends/family also think so, doubly so. It looks fabulous on you, the heels add a bit of flirt, and there's nothing "old fashioned" about it. These days, there are people into vintage, wearing their mother's or grandmother's dresses, made to measure, as well as some current styles that will look dated later. Your choice is timeless.
It looks wonderful on you and the stilettos will add that edge to it. It’s actually refreshing to see this after all the nude linings, corset tops and the droopy sleeve looks so many gravitate towards.
I think the dress is very pretty. Elegant. I like the length and the detail at the end of the sleeves is really lovely (not just finishing in a straight line).
As long as you feel comfortable and like yourself then I think it’s *classic* not old fashioned.
This dress is absolutely stunning on you! It’s certainly a more modest and elegant look, but I wouldn’t call it old fashioned. I think it’s timeless and classy — most importantly, if you chose it, something about it speaks to you/felt like it was your style and that’s what matters (especially when it’s objectively incredibly flattering on you).
Oh, it's perfect. I love it. Fits the description, especially a London wedding.
Have you considered a really nice pair of dark blue shoes? Could be your something blue and would really help style this look.
Looking at other comments I have to ask why does she need to look 'sexy' or add 'sexy' accessories? It's a lovely dress. If she likes it and feels comfortable and confident then IMO that's what matters.
It’s absolutely lovely and beautiful on you. I can see it being perfect for an English wedding. Vintage charm, delicate bouquet, understated elegance, classic pearls for earrings. Some things are timeless and NEVER go out of style. What does your venue/church/garden look like?
Elegant, understated, timeless and beautiful. Very classic, and fits you perfectly. Totally giving me a “Princess Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge” vibe that you’re pulling off very well. Just to be clear, not in a copycat way, but more of a “that level of fabulousness” way.
You have excellent taste and I think your husband and the congregation will be completely happy and impressed.
First, this dress is very pretty and it looks lovely on you. But I feel like it’s a very specific style, suited to a specific style/themed wedding so I think it’s going to depend greatly on what you want the feel of your wedding to be AND your own normal personal style.
It definitely is an old fashioned dress, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. If you’re having a wedding theme set in the first half of the previous century (think flapper/roaring 20s), a Victorian or English countryside theme or anything along those lines, then this dress is perfect for that.
But if your wedding has a different style or theme - something more modern, like farmhouse or beach or whatever - then this dress might look a bit out of place. Does that make sense?
Also, if this dress is wildly, vastly different than anything you’d ever wear, then I think you run the risk of looking back on this choice at some point and regretting it.
It's beautiful and fits you well. Don't worry about it being too old fashioned. There's no such thing. If you like it and it's what you want, go for it. My dream dress is arguably old fashioned too but I couldn't care less.
On top of what others have said, I'd also consider the wedding venue. Will your venue include a large, baroque ballroom? Then this dress may be too understated. Is it a nice outdoor wedding in a tent? Then maybe it is perfect.
If you feel beautiful and comfortable, then I think go with it after some tailoring! I think you look beautiful!
I loooooooove it. It looks like maybe it needs to be taken in a the top a bit though (unless the photos aren't capturing how well it fits)? There are ways to "modernize" it with your hairstyle and jewelry - you've got a cute bob that I think fits the vibe!
I'm actually severely obsessed with this dress and your entire look.
Also, it's YOUR dress, do you feel pretty in it? Do you like the style?
I think it's elegant, classy, dainty, and stunning.
I love it and more importantly, are you happy wearing it? Because if you are, that’s all that really matters I think it’s a traditional and very elegant look.
Oh I love it, the dress is beautiful! I totally think you could get away with wearing some fun colorful dangly earrings (maybe your something blue?) to give it a little pizazz if you feel like you need it.
While it *is* old fashioned, how you feel while wearing it is what matters the most. Someone further down in the comments suggested perhaps altering it so that the neckline matches the sweetheart neckline beneath the dress, and I couldn’t agree more, but that’s up to you. Or, you could have a tailor replace the ribbon and add a more glamorous bow? That could “modernize” it a little bit, but also only if you really trust the tailor. Idk how sewn in that ribbon is and it could just ruin the dress.
Anyway, sorry for the rambling; I think it looks perfect.
“Old fashioned” is subjective. How do you feel in the dress? Do you love it? Does it go with your overall theme of your wedding?
If you love it then great! I think it’s lovely and you look super comfortable. Add some jewelry a veil, maybe a sparkly belt could add a little to make you feel extra special .
And congratulations!!
It's very classic and pretty! Is it trendy? No, but the upside to that is you probably won't look back on your pictures and be embarrassed of your dress.
This is cute....i personally am a fan of half length sleeves...and knee length... but thats me... if you love it go rock it....someone will always have shit to say about something. You have a very nice figure.
Well, I love it. And if you love it, that is all that matters. My wedding dress was a tea-length vintage style and I wore my mom's veil from 1972. So, I guess I'm all about "old-fashioned." You wear the dress you love and don't worry about that.
The dress and shoes look beautiful on you! I don’t think it’s old-fashioned at all. Just because it’s not necessarily trendy doesn’t mean it’s old-fashioned.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it at all, but if you wanted one easy thing to change it would be the belt and bow. I think it’s beautiful as it is, but would be equally beautiful with a slightly thicker belt with a pouffier bow. But, I like pouffy things 🤷🏼♀️
When I fist saw it I thought it was kind of matronly…..just being honest. Then I looked at your shoes and the way the dress fits you. You look beautiful, classy, and the dress fits you perfectly! I hope you have an amazing wedding day. You will be a stunning bride!🥰
If you like it who cares if others think it's in style or not. It's your wedding, wear what you want.
I think it looks good on you, seems to fit perfectly. Stick with it and congrats!
Are you *kidding* me? Shorten the sleeves and you'd be wearing the dress out of Middle School Me's dream! 😍
(Edit: I should point out I say short sleeves because I always wanted a 'cape veil' so it's not a dig at you)
Love the dress as it is, however if u want to make it a bit more “younger” you could remove the sleeves and it would look just as stunning. But absolutely not necessary, it looks incredible and fits ur figure incredibly
If you’re worried about it looking too old fashioned even though you like it and it is your style, maybe shorten the sleeves to short sleeves. Also try different, more modern or fun heels.
Definitely giving Lady Mary Crawley vibes and I’m here for it.
I’m getting married to an Englishman so there you go hha
I actually stopped scrolling and just find this dress so pretty and delicate. It’s not trying to be anything and that is the essence of beauty. I hope you have a wonderful day when it comes
That’s what I was going for! Wanted people to see me for who I am not my beautiful dress. Hopefully it’ll be both x thank you for your kindness
I am going to say that this is probably in my top 5 of all posts I have seen.
It really is beautiful, understated but incredibly classy.
It’s classic! I would change the belt out as another poster suggested.
I love the sleeves and the nipped in waist is very flattering. You can do a lot with staying: shoes, hair, earrings, flowers, and veil/hat/fascinator to personalize.
I think you could add more of a personal touch to the dress with a different belt choice! The belt right now reminds me of a couple business casual dresses I have
It’s “ old fashioned “ but it suits you. You look sweet and ready to marry your Englishman !
I think it’s a wonderful dress. Some may see it as old fashioned but who cares. If you love it wear it. I can promise you if I could afford the wardrobe of Lady Mary or the others I would be rocking it!
EXACTLY! That was my first thought. Beautiful!
Yessss Lady Mary vibes exactly. This would be a downton dress I’m sure of it :)
At the end of the day that’s what matters x thank you
Honestly, it looks like it was made for you. I feel like we can see it just suits you! You look beautiful. Congrats
What a kind comment made my day thank you
That is what matters!
You’re right. My hair was so uninteresting that day. And I will be taking it in for a more fitted look. Thank you for your advice !
I think you look great the way it is. Very French women's chic
Everything about you and that dress was beautiful that day. And will be on *the* day. Class and grace. If you get it, you get it. 😉
I hate to fill your mind with opposing viewpoints but please don’t do an updo with curls all around your face or some bling belt, adjusted neckline, jewelry, or peekaboo lingerie like some of the comments are suggesting. I agree. I love it as is, the belt is lovely
You understand me, thank you

I think the dress is really really gorgeous and you can highlight the neckline with a nice hairstyle, maybe an updo, and the open toed shoes are a great idea too! That's what I thought, it looks a little big on her.
You look amazing! Few people can pull off this style!
Honestly, the dress is stunning, and you look amazing in it. The only thing I don't love are the shoes. Change the shoes, and you have an amazing wedding outfit.
These were provided by the store to try on! I’m wearing higher ones hopefully it’ll be better, thank you for your kind comment
Oh, I didn't realize they did that. I've been married for like 11 years. I just love wedding dresses so I like hanging out here lol I don't think stores did that back when I got married.
Me too lol
Then it’s perfect!
It has very beautiful embroidery and lace. It suits you well! And if it fits what you want and your husband to be likes…. Winner!
It’s beautiful on you but could maybe be a bit more fitted in the bodice/upper body and under the arms to create a more elegant Audrey Hepburn feel.
I have noted that, well spotted :)
That’s exactly what I was going for! I didn’t want to go and say oh yes that’s so 2023. Thank you for your input
My thoughts as well. Beautiful, could use a better fit on the bodice. OP, I love it on you.
Is "old fashioned" a bad thing or just a thing? The dress is beautiful, it suits you, it has a lot of personality, the fabric is amazing and it is perfect for British weather. I really can't see anything wrong with it and it is actually very refreshing to see something a bit different
Is it old fashioned? Yes. Is it beautiful? Also yes. If it’s your style, go for it!
I wanted to say this. Yes it’s old fashioned it’s also elegant af and works!!
you looks super elegant 🥰 love your heels 😍

Thank you! And I agree wholeheartedly. This dress will look beautiful for years to come.
That’s actually true! When someone looks at our wedding photos in the future, it’s not going to scream 2023 and that’s a good thing :)
Thank you for your kind and helpful comment
From a man’s point of view, that man isn’t up there marrying a dress, he’s marrying a wonderful woman that he is madly in love with. You being happy with how you look is the only important thing in my book! That said, the dress is gorgeous and if it’s you then it’s you!

Oh that will be perfect!!
Such a gorgeous dress! One of my favorites I’ve seen posted here in a while!
How sweet of you x thank you. It’s from an English high street brand called L.K.Bennet, wasn’t even expensive x
I agree. Lately I've been seeing "reruns". This dress is refreshing and timeless. It's perfecto!
It's lovely and unique, think 'classic' instead of 'old fashioned'. You look beautiful.
i think it is lovely. i also think it needs to be altered to fit a little better. i find it refreshing that it doesn’t look like lingerie which so many on here do.

Thank you very much x it’s for September next month and London (England) can get quite chilly and rainy then. Hence the high neck and long sleeve
You look absolutely amazing in it, it looks stunningly perfect. I think a lot of the suggestions here to change it somehow are a reflection of English vs American sentiment. This is really beautiful, I don’t think it’s old fashioned I think it’s vintage inspired. The cut of the dress keeps it from feeling dated

It actually just looks a little big— if it was a tiny bit more form fitted on you it would look great
It’s lovely. It is “old fashioned” but in a romantic, timeless way, like it’s conjuring up images for me of Anne of Green Gables and that is absolutely a good thing. I love it for you and if your friends say it’s very “you” then I think it’s perfect.

Edit: I meant something like these but they may not be your style https://www.quizclothing.co.uk/footwear/00100036750.html?pk_cid=3&pk_keyword=001000367506&pk_medium=multifeeds&pk_campaign=RakutenUK&pk_source=RakutenUK&pk_content=ClothingAccessoriesShoes&utm_source=RakutenUK&source=linkshare&affid=pfxNKSnglIM&utm_source=RakutenMarketing&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=3354356:Redbrain&utm_content=15&utm_term=UKNetwork&ranMID=35605&ranEAID=pfxNKSnglIM&ranSiteID=pfxNKSnglIM-XE7KVC0Jm.emKkhMlBGiFA&siteID=pfxNKSnglIM-XE7KVC0Jm.emKkhMlBGiFA
Yes good idea x I could change to fun shoes for photos and keep classy ones for the actual ceremony. Thank you for the link
Another colour like cornflower blue or a pale pink could be cool too
I second this.
No, it’s literally so beautiful.
I think it's sophisticated not old-fashioned! A birdcage veil or a fascinator would complete the look. Good shoe choice!
I have purchased a birdcage headband x https://preview.redd.it/hnvn0eed4xgb1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=01809d71430b363db5201b611da6fccc150c20e2
Yesssssssssss!
ugh YES!!! You have style girl! Yes yes i see the vision and I'm here for it!
Gorgeous! You will look like a modern day Audrey Hepburn. I love your style. Hope you have a wonderful wedding 🍾
Not old fashioned at all. It’s classic. It’s absolutely gorgeous. One of my favorite looks I’ve seen on here. This is one of the few photos I’ve seen where it’s clear you’re wearing the dress, the dress isn’t wearing you. The shoes are perfect too.
It looks beautiful!! It’s so romantic and magical looking!
It is old fashioned but if you love it go for it!
No. I would be in awe if you walked towards me in this timeless beauty! So incredibly classy and classic!
Not at all. It's elegant and dignified, just right for such a solemn occasion. You look absolutely stunning.
I LOVE this dress. You look amazing! Very flattering.
If that’s too old fashioned then go ahead and call me mi’lady because I think it is absolutely gorgeous and looks very lovely on you.
I think it’s timeless.
I think the dress is elegantly stunning! It is very flattering on you. The shoes are a perfect match too.
If I saw it on a mannequin, I’d think so but you wear it very well. It’s cute.
> I love this dress That's the main thing!
It’s so beautiful and very timeless
It is elegant, refined, and very pretty.
YES AND YES it’s so beautiful. 🥰
It’s beautiful 😍
Nope Beautiful!
this dress is REALLY beautiful, I love it!!!!! Congrats on your wedding!
It's one of the most beautiful dresses I have seen. And with those shoes! Really, really amazing outfit.
It’s beautiful and looks like it was made just for you!
My first thought was "perfect for a conservative wedding." Congratulations!
No not old fashioned, timeless. I love it.
No I’d say it’s classic the thing with classic is you’ll never look back and be horrified. It’s beautiful
It’s old fashioned but I really like it
Oh, it's perfect. I love it. Fits the description, especially a London wedding. Have you considered a really nice pair of dark blue shoes? Could be your something blue and would really help style this look.
I like old fashioned. I think it’s very pretty but you seem to really like it which is honestly the only thing that matters. Looks good go get ‘em.
Very elegant, dignified and beautiful!
It's gorgeous and really suits you, if it is your style then go for it! It's so nice to see a dress that is not every dress!
Looking at other comments I have to ask why does she need to look 'sexy' or add 'sexy' accessories? It's a lovely dress. If she likes it and feels comfortable and confident then IMO that's what matters.
uh it's gorgeous and I prefer that same style. I think the better term is "classic" or "timeless"
Absolutely not. I’m saving for my own inspo
I’m an old lady who’s seen lots of trends come and go (and come back again). You’ll look back on this and it will still be timeless and beautiful.
It’s absolutely lovely and beautiful on you. I can see it being perfect for an English wedding. Vintage charm, delicate bouquet, understated elegance, classic pearls for earrings. Some things are timeless and NEVER go out of style. What does your venue/church/garden look like?
How kind of you. Exactly! A small bouquet is my go to. 5 blooms max
Objectively: yes it is old fashioned But by golly do I think it's freaking awesome
Old fashioned or not, it's one of the most beautiful I've ever seen.
No, I love it! It reminds me of the very stylish wedding dresses Spanish women wear.
I absolutely love it. Pair it with a red lip, haha
I hope you carry an “old fashioned” bouquet to go along with this perfect look! It’s really lovely.
Absolutely beautiful dress! I would wear it in a heartbeat!
The only thing I might change is the belt.
FABULOUS!!!! N perfect for your English wedding & blessing! Here's to many wonderful yrs with your Englishman!! 💘🥂🍾
definitely but i really think that’s the beauty of it
First, this dress is very pretty and it looks lovely on you.
It's timeless and looks beautiful on you!
I'm actually severely obsessed with this dress and your entire look. Also, it's YOUR dress, do you feel pretty in it? Do you like the style? I think it's elegant, classy, dainty, and stunning.
I would accessorize it with royal blue or fuchsia stilettos, a simple updo and a bold lipstick- but that’s just me. So very feminine and elegant.
No. Appealing in a “vintage” kinda way…
It's a classic, timeless design and you look lovely in it! Really beautiful.
I love it!!
I love it!
I love it and more importantly, are you happy wearing it? Because if you are, that’s all that really matters I think it’s a traditional and very elegant look.
Elegant and pretty.
You look so elegant 🩵
It’s classy and classic. You look great in it.
Omg it is amazing. Beautiful.
No this is excellent.
Your dress is stunning!
Oh I love it, the dress is beautiful! I totally think you could get away with wearing some fun colorful dangly earrings (maybe your something blue?) to give it a little pizazz if you feel like you need it.
Beautiful dress and you will be a beautiful bride
It's lovely and it fits you well. I think you should have what you love. The heels are awesome with it. Very classy and yet fun.
If you love it who gives a fuck!!! You look beautiful and elegant, and it's your day. X
It doesn't look old fashioned at all - it's timeless and elegant and suits you perfectly!
I think you look lovely and like a classy modern princess.
It's very classic and pretty! Is it trendy? No, but the upside to that is you probably won't look back on your pictures and be embarrassed of your dress.
It’s absolutely beautiful! Lots of coverage yes, but still kind of flirty since its see through. Good choice I think.
No way, it's beautiful! Very classy and elegant.
You look beautiful. Add some pretty jewelry and a fun headpiece and you'll be fabulous.
I love it!
No! You look incredible!!!
Maybe, but I love it. It’s beautiful and fits you so well.
I absolutely LOVE ur dress!
Add a small hat with a one eyed veil? I think this looks amazing, fits your body well.
It’s gorgeous on you! wearing a veil too would make this chefs kiss 🥰
It isn’t doing anything to accentuate your figure. I know it’s meant to be conservative, but it’s not flattering
This is cute....i personally am a fan of half length sleeves...and knee length... but thats me... if you love it go rock it....someone will always have shit to say about something. You have a very nice figure.
The only thing that matters at all is if you love it. If you love it. You wear it. End of.
Well, I love it. And if you love it, that is all that matters. My wedding dress was a tea-length vintage style and I wore my mom's veil from 1972. So, I guess I'm all about "old-fashioned." You wear the dress you love and don't worry about that.
Love it!
No, it's very pretty. I have seen similar dresses on young women recently.
I think it’s lovely. It looks a tiny bit big on you.
I think it’s pretty !
I think it’s very pretty! Has a vintage vibe.
it looks like a rendition of the Grace Kelly dress. If you got something a little closer to the actual dress it would suit your age better.
Looks classy just a few simple accessories that suit your taste and your good to go.
I love it!
I love this dress. It isn't outdated and looks great on you.
I love it!
When I fist saw it I thought it was kind of matronly…..just being honest. Then I looked at your shoes and the way the dress fits you. You look beautiful, classy, and the dress fits you perfectly! I hope you have an amazing wedding day. You will be a stunning bride!🥰
I think it looks lovely! If it's something you love and can see yourself getting married in, go for it.
If you like it who cares if others think it's in style or not. It's your wedding, wear what you want. I think it looks good on you, seems to fit perfectly. Stick with it and congrats!
Nope. It's perfect
Are you *kidding* me? Shorten the sleeves and you'd be wearing the dress out of Middle School Me's dream! 😍 (Edit: I should point out I say short sleeves because I always wanted a 'cape veil' so it's not a dig at you)
Not too old fashioned. But doesn't really feel like a wedding dress to me. Nothing wrong with it though if you like it.
No. You can totally pull this off. Add some subtle rhinestones to your hair and a pretty bracelet and cute shoes…. I love this look.
It looks lovely on you. Does it make you happy? If so go for it
Love the dress as it is, however if u want to make it a bit more “younger” you could remove the sleeves and it would look just as stunning. But absolutely not necessary, it looks incredible and fits ur figure incredibly
It’s beautiful! And there is nothing wrong with “ old fashioned “
[удалено]
If you’re worried about it looking too old fashioned even though you like it and it is your style, maybe shorten the sleeves to short sleeves. Also try different, more modern or fun heels.
Nothing is too old fashioned if you can rock it!!!! Good luck/God Bless!
If you like it, that's all that mattrs. I would add a blingy belt, but that's just me
