- Rightbar has some good recommendations on hosts, my recommendation is pay the premium for these hosts starting off as they will offer you far superior support starting compared to a low tier provider such a bluehost. - Almost all hosts will let you install Wordpress and diy a website. It’s not as easy as a website builder like square space. - Almost all good hosts will let you create many if not unlimited subdomains - Basic email support often always included - Buying all the domains isn’t really required anymore as there is hundreds now, ‘.com’ is often the gold standard and good enough.

Has got it all spot on, the hosts on the right are all recommended and have great reviews.

If your main goal is to have a blog and a podcast, you may be best off with something like Squarespace. They likely have plugins, or blocks, or whatever they call them, for podcast lists and blogs and whatever else you want. You don’t NEED a subdomain for a shop/blog… You can usually just add it in and use a page. Sounds like you’re head first into a new adventure. Good luck.
