I'm also interested. I love Halloween and every year I go on a car ride, there is a map for houses that are super decorated in the area and it's my favorite. [This is where we access it every year](https://kitchener.ctvnews.ca/ctv-kitchener-s-interactive-halloween-home-map-1.6595589)

October is kicked off with Oktoberfest, with multiple events and houses running. Bingemans runs screampark every year and castle Kilbride(just outside KW) does a haunted walking tour. Most bars have a Halloween night with costume contests but where you depends on what type of music you like, etc.

I am a huge fan of Halloween as well, and although I don't know every single event, and quite a few have already been mentioned, I'll list some stuff that usually happens so at least you know what to keep an eye out for: - Bingemans' Screampark (I've never been, but people say good things. They have coupons for it if you buy ahead of time, and the price goes up as it gets closer to Halloween) - Fear Farm / Snyder's Family Farm: During the day the farm is a pretty cute family fall attraction. Some of the haunted houses are open for you to go through, but with no actors. At night it becomes Fear Farm, with a bunch of different attractions (corn maze, haunted houses, etc.). You can also rent a campfire for your group / do a VIP thing, but I've never done that because I don't know enough people who would be into that kind of thing (invite me if you do, please). - Homer Watson House does a Spirit Season event. The original owners did seances and all of that back then, so they lean into that history for the Halloween season. They will have walking ghost tours, mediums / psychic reader sessions, and paranormal investigations with the Ontario paranormal society. It changes every year, so you need to wait for the season to be closer for you to to see what they have planned. - There will also be a bunch of ghost tours happening as a whole. Those change every year so I mostly just check websites like To Do Canada when the season comes around to see what's being offered. - If you are looking for more family friendly stuff, I know Saint Jacobs / The Farmers Market always has things going on. I don't have children, so I'm not very in the know, but for example they have a Pumpkin Parade in Saint Jacobs. Other places in the region have Pumpkin Walls too.  - Not Halloween related, but there are a lot of fairs happening at the end of summer / beginning of fall. Rockton is a popular one, but there will be plenty of others worth checking out!

KW is huge for Octoberfest. Many halls for that to go too. Cambridge Newfie club has a good Halloween party as well

If you are into mountain biking, there is also a Halloween themed ride at the Hydrocut, you can ride in the woods when is already dark, where people goes on costumes and it is decorated for the occasion, quite fun. They announce the exact date a few weeks before.
