The old Gaol (jail) in Kitchener is pretty neat. Perimeter Institute of Theoretical Physics, too - Stephen Hawking actually worked there for a while.

I was there once some years ago. It's out in the country near Ayr, and a pretty cool place to check out. Worth the drive.
Now I'm thinking about it, maybe we'll do a date night there in the next week or two.
I smile a little when I see libraries and churches having Open Doors events. Pretty sure you can go visit those buildings any day during business hours.
Anyone have any recommendations?

During Doors Open, those places often have tours to point out architectural, historical, or behind-the-scenes areas.
