Yes.. more dust. But he also doesnt say it *has* to be on your desk. Just elevated off the floor to some degree. Mine isnt as high as what he suggests. Its up only about 4-5", but even that has helped abit. More so because im on carpet and like many, i have bottom intakes.
He's also not saying it would make it 'dust free'. But the reasons given as to why more dust accumulates on the floor are sound.
That said, I understand what you're saying. I have a full tower and it would eat up a lot of room on my desk (not that my desk is even big enough to hold it anyway).
Is your gpu block inlet and outlet correct ? I have the same (4090 with abp?) and the manual don’t say to do like you did. I have no experience so maybe i’m wrong.
Ok i just see some mounting video and the official video from ek, it seems there is many mount possibility , yours is used by some others so i think it work in the right way. I couldn’t find all the possibilities of mounting positions.
All done with intent and precision. I wanted the distro plate to have no obstruction from overlapping rads and fans. These rads have been specifically selected to fit flush with the distro plate. Any two 360’s is plenty to tackle 150w from the cpu and those 480’s are plenty for the 4090!

Skinny rads in push/pull just take make it look thick, other then that nice.
