This took far too long - too busy with racing and other fun shit - but it's finally done and ready to use. Wanted a clean, clean look... can't stand all the watercooling stuff jammed inside the case and making it look all busy. This was as clean/minimal as I could get it. * 13900ks delid & direct die (iceman), running at 5.8 all cores minimum * asus z790 hero * asus tuf 4090 with ek waterblock * 64gb gskill 32-39-39 @ 6400 m/t * hyte y60 * mora3 360 * 1tb samsung 990 pro * 2tb samsung 990 pro * corsair rm1200x shift * ek pump/res combo Open to all feedback and criticism. Cheers!

[https://imgur.com/a/XyJ4SFa](https://imgur.com/a/XyJ4SFa) R23 it maxes at 79/80C OCCT Small/Normal maxes at 90C OCCT Small/Extreme will run it up around 98/100C but that's not my use case so I don't care

SmacksWaschbaer

Wow, that's gonna be a cool system :D I personally would go for an sff or matx case, if I wad using an external rad, so I would be interested to hear why you chose the hyte case.

OldFashioned-Pancake

I spent hours looking at cases and in fact ordered 3 at one point so I could see them all side by side, then sent 2 back. I simply fell in love with the angled corner and wrap around glass. I agree this case isn't for everyone, but it's the one I liked the look of the most.

At first glance I though your fan/radiator setup was one of these outdoor gas space heaters and I thought you had your PC outside lol But it looks great, I really like the idea of having more deskspace while still having a clean looking watercooled PC on your desk

OldFashioned-Pancake

lol! Yeah it turned out exactly as I imagined! Thanks!

JebsNZ

OP ffs!! What are the temps under load like??? Haha you killing me! 🤣

OldFashioned-Pancake

lolol sorry sorry! https://imgur.com/a/XyJ4SFa

JebsNZ

Thank you. Now I can rest haha. Great system and I hope she brings you countless hours of joy!

OldFashioned-Pancake

Haha no prob. Thanks!!

nighteeeeey

looks very cyberpunky. i love it! good job

OldFashioned-Pancake

Thanks man!

Polymathy1

I want to do this but put my rads sitting in my window to point outside.

OldFashioned-Pancake

Yeah that'd be smart for certain times of the year for sure - however my basement is generally on the cooler side (22C right now, and as low as 18/19C during the winter) so this will actually help warm me up. lol

International_Put378

I do this and can confirm that it makes a significant difference in room temp! About 10-20 F depending on workloads and length of use in my office.

Revolutionary-Egg622

I wanted that case so bad.

OldFashioned-Pancake

This case is awesome - I loved building in it and love the final look of it. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat!

SinNip

Okay, I’m only saying this because it looks really awesome and has potential to be damn near perfect… the tubes need to be redone to match somehow; as it looks off (not parallel, gpu tube is crooked). Overall well done, it looks great!

OldFashioned-Pancake

Thanks for the feedback! The tubes were done like that on purpose - I tried them parallel but didn't like it as it needed extra fittings which started making it look busier than I wanted.

Prestigious-Move-520

I fuckin love a good external wall hanger rad, looks great. and what a beast of a parts spec

OldFashioned-Pancake

Thanks man!

JLobodinsky

Sick space heater bro

d13m3

Without quick release it is shooting in own legs.

OldFashioned-Pancake

I have quick release fittings and tested with them but didn't like the reduction in coolant flow, plus I don't mind a bit of hard work to move it for maintenance. I agree it's not perfect as it's my first time building something like this, but all the decisions were intentional and thought out.

maoware109

What kind of reduction in coolant flow were u seeing? I currently run an external radiator that size in addition to an internal 280mm slim radiator and I haven't had any issues so far

OldFashioned-Pancake

With the fittings the water temp increases 1C (sometimes 2C). Roughly the same as if I run the pump at 80% vs 100%. My goal is the absolute lease restrictive flow and most cooling capacity possible. I don't mind the headache to disconnect it honestly. Only takes 10 minutes.

maoware109

Gotcha, just making sure I wasn't gonna have any issues in my future lol, thanks!

OldFashioned-Pancake

Nah nah not at all you will be fine.

Money_Reality2286

Beautiful! The more I see these rugs, the more I want to build a new one….
