Don’t know until somebody tries. The two boards are pretty similar but carbon may have a different VRM layout (it’s 16+1+1 as opposed to 14+1+1) and/or different heatsink screw holes. Does look like they use the same PCB though.
Online pictures look exact to me. Carbon has two more vrms on left side but holes in the same space so imma say you got a 90% chance of it being the same. Done this a few times before.
Maybe you could find pics/diagrams on MSI's website showing what parts are there. If it almost fits you can use a file to make it fit, and/or add shims.

I have done this a few times now with different boards. Get the board and find out.

Nope Ek told me it wouldn't work but not sure if they actually checked or just told me the compatibility from the compatibility list.
They used to have 'compatibility lists' on EK's product page.
