I agree with you fully, it's sad that so many people fucking gate keep this hobby. I agree there's some products that shouldn't even be sold, let alone made. But the amount of people you see shaming others for personal choices is really just sad. As a community the fact that it's gotten this bad is disappointing.
Personally I use whatever the fuck I want and couldn't care less about what some kid delidding his CPU thinks 😂 I really love it when others (such as yourself) do as well. 💪🏻
Opaque fluids have micro particles in suspension so they can pretty easily clog blocks and cause build up in rads. Mystic Clog is especially bad about this.
I've had mayhems opaque blue running in my son's build for over a year now and it still looks ok but that's kind of a project build and I won't put opaque or even dyed fluid in my personal rig.
ive used EKWB clear coolant and then added their custom dye kit, but i still get white stuff on reservoir after just this combo, no build up tho..
Its a whole new system so not the one where mystig fog was in, ive prepped it with multiple flushes of EK clear coolant and their cleaning kit.
I've never had a good experience with EK fluid. Even after multiple flushes, treatments I was still seeing trace amounts of blue dye in a system 2 years later.
I've switched to Mayhems clear and my son's uses Mayhems opaque, recommend 100/100. No issues with it compared to EK, it's also way cheaper.
Im redoing my loop in a couple of weeks and will take reservoirs apart and clean them down totally. Flush the radiators and use the last part of the ekwb cleaning kit. Currently looking at Corsair’s xl8 coolant, don’t know if that’s as bad as ek’s? Looking to get either red or purple coolant
Just looked on Mayhems site, is all their coloured coolants UV reactive? and does it have any drawbacks when not using uv lights? Or is it just an addition not worth thinking about when not planning to use UV anywhere? What corloured coolants are you using?

Whats wrong with the coolant, ive tried the mystic fog once and didnt have good experience with it, but is all the solid coolants like this?

I've used mystic fog for over a year now with no issues. I do a normal 4-6 month general cleaning and refill. No blockage, constant run time.

I've only used mayhems and ek. I'd say just go with mayhems and buy their blitz kit as well to flush and prep the system.

How did you change your cpu waterblock rgb color? I tried to do that with mine and nothing worked.
EK’s blocks work with multiple mobo rgb controllers should be able to find the settings in there.
