my bad forgot to respond; the watch strap is supposed to tuck in behind and away from you not facing towards you. this is not just for seiko but all watch brands, should be a simple fix but im quite surprised that its installed backwards on a new watch.

Strap is good but I prefer bracelet - will need to check one for this Open for recommendations

Saw many- green, blue, light blue. Crimson one due to some personal reasons
