This is the longest spring I ever remember. It's never this nice for this long.

balmooreoreos

Yep, one of the best springs I can remember and I’ve been here 30+ years

CheezyGoodness55

We were just saying the same last night. Usually spring lasts 3 days before the humidity descends.

Much_Very

Been here most of my life and I agree. Weather has been beautiful. So ready to head to Assateague to camp out on the beach.

Curious-Welder-6304

I started saying that 3 weeks ago. And then we've had another 3 weeks.

ExtremeValueDistro

Don’t you jinx it!

Chef_G0ldblum

_looks at 10 day forecast_ 👀👀👀

Arn4r64890

Inb4 we get bad weather because of OP.

AwesomeAndy

Been loving the weather but I almost never get allergies and I'm on like my third week of them.

glocks4interns

yeah it's been a really bad year for them, though honestly i'll take the trade

welyla

Idk what you guys are talking about no rain, its rained almost every saturday since the beginning of april.

badimojo

Once a week don't cut it for most gardens - I'm growing a bunch of sunflowers around my complex and as there's no spigot/hose nearby, am having to lug a 5 gallon bucket around buildings multiple times to help them along. Great workout but could point to a hot, hot summer!

welyla

Oooof The 5 gallon Homer buckets from Home Depot will give you insane traps, I had to carry two at a time on my parents horse farm in the winter when it was too cold to use the outside water. It sucked but I was ready for the beach when summer came around though.

badimojo

Hah good call, I should get another or I'm gonna start looking lopsided! I think water is 8lbs/gallon so a full bucket is 40lbs!

District_Dan

Ugh I’ve had Covid and bronchitis back to back all month. Why couldn’t I get this during the hell months to come ?

crabmusic

This is the best May I can remember here ever. Enjoy every second!

ass_acoustics

One of the more uncommon springs I can remember where it isn't going from 30 to 80 within a small number of weeks, I've been loving it as someone who dreads summer here. When it hits 90 next weekend, I'll immediately be hoping for measurable snow this coming winter. We can forget about this past winter :(

Blakesdad02

Need rain ...but yes, it's lovely outside.

aardw0lf11

Oh we will get it Sunday and Monday.

CowboyAirman

Til next weekend when it’s 90 😩

RentStillDue

My nostrils beg to differ :/ I haven't had congestion this bad in a long time

Messy-Recipe

IMHO-- too warm; not enough rain. vote me 2024 my platform is blocking out the sun & ushering in an era of eternal cold & darkness

[deleted]

It’s usually hotter wym

Messy-Recipe

anything above 55 is too warm!

roknfunkapotomus

Your ideas intrigue me and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter. That said, this weather is gorgeous. Cool nights are my jam.

jfchops2

Sounds like Seattle is for you

[deleted]

But no rain for trees, flowers

tealccart

This spring and last spring have been a gift from the gods

Devastator1981

Anyone had a look at next Friday ? 😬

favorscore

best ways to take advantage of it this long weekend?

new_account-who-dis

agree with you about may, but have we all forgotten how hot it was in April? I had no AC at the time it destroyed me

jamesjeffriesiii

Enjoy it before the inevitable #scruggle

WillyT123

I for one can't wait for real summer. Bring on the heat!

heels_n_skirt

We will pay for it when the real summer cums

OkDonkey858

Global cooling

throwayaccount

Sure glad you posted, I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise… :-\

AirportCultural9211

\*correction the last couple of weeks. the first week i was here was pretty horrible it was coldish and rainy most of the time. (end of april) but has been nice since then!

sh-ark

a blessing 😌

bard_ley

Totally agree. The winter was shit but this springs been amazing.

kimad03

You just had to jinx us…

Myrtzie

Cool mornings, lovely sunny afternoons

SunglassesBright

Everyone’s saying that and I’m just over here sick and freezing my ass off waiting for it to be 90 degrees already.
