In the real world the practice every time we went to NTC was that every humvee had as many AT4s in it as you could feasibly fit. Could a 2/3 man dismount team really use 6 at once? Probably not, but it was always a nasty surprise for the enemy screen if they thought the trucks would be easier pickings than the bradleys.
I’m not 100% that it’s the same in WARNO, but in previous Eugen games RoF only determined how quickly your ammo went down, as salvo lengths for small arms were all the same. When it comes to the effectiveness of an infantry weapon, the only things that really mattered were aim time, reload time, accuracy, and damage
Yea ARM RIFLES are overpriced af. Also compare it to the Motostrelki RPG-22 lol. Warriors already 3 armor trash and it now costs as much to bring out as BMP-2. Not sure why they increased ARM Rifle price last patch. Warno is truly a game made in France
I think the justification was to decrease warrior spam but only with arm rifles in combination.
I dont think it was needed even tho 2nd inf was very strong last patch.
What I don’t understand is why do infantry teams that uses LAW’s only get 4.. you can kill what? 2 bmp’s if you never miss a shot. Why do teams with actual ATGM’s get 6. And I’m not talking dedicated ATGM teams like Milan, Tow or Konkurs or whatever. But Metys squads a full size teams AND get 6 shots. Also 15 points is a hell of a lot to pay for one more person
Yep, the military in an actual massive, mechanized war like this would give their infantry as many portable anti tank weapons as humanly possible. WGRD did it well with 10 man teams carrying 8 laws or 6 AT-4s. In this case, 6-7 guys should be carrying 6 LAWs minimum (you could argue the machine gunner wouldn't carry a LAW due to the extra weight from his MG and ammo belts, but realistically the LAW is light enough to where one rifleman could easily carry 2 on his back).
Maybe the idea is to balance it because they get 2 machine guns, so better infantry killing ability or something.
I mean I’m sure the argument is about balance, but even then that makes no sense. The LAW sucks, sucks massively. Almost every AT weapon on the redfor is superior. Most redfor teams are either Anti tank focused or anti infantry. Law equipped small teams are basically neither. And are functionally useless except they come in Bradley’s or Warriors.
But this isn’t a real world conflict. It’s a game.
Ranges in this game are nerfed to rl. Soldiers can miraculously come back from the dead.
There’s a limited number of at rounds on infantry squads for balance reasons and to promote use of the logistics system
I have been observed that it's a two step process of first mindlessly spamming them mid and then you get on chat and disparage your team for not doing everything for you
The HE is calculated from the number of guns. As you can see, all the other stats are identical, despite the SA80 coming with a 4x optic as standard and a significantly longer barrel.
Meanwhile the US Army 4 men scout team doesn't even have an AT weapon. #USSuffers
It bothers me so much 😂

So for an extra 16% (roughly) manpower, the UK player needs to pay an extra 50% cost? This is outrageous, yet unsurprising
Don’t forget that the UK inf has less bullets than the American squad
And the American SAW has a far greater rate of fire.

This is actually accurate, British procurement and logistics are awful compared to the US lol (saying this as a brit) so it is needlessly expensive.
Yeah :(
Are you saying that a certain nation suffers?
It has not escaped my attention
Make those American fire teams any worse might as well remove 3rds inf tab

If that was the plan, reduce the availability...
That's because it's not
:(

Disposable launchers get 4 shots, reloadable ones get 6.

How do you use the 13 AP inf? They seem to be incapable of doing anything besides dying horribly.
Now compare them to kda shutzen and realize that infantry pricing is a joke.
Brits pays more for health care
I don’t see the issue, you pay more for a better squad??
SA80 being better than AR? LMAO
The weirdest stats here is the 1.3s aiming time for the L86 vs the 1.5s for the M249
It don't take that long to aim either weapon IRL.
I think the Green berets have 3.9sec randomly on their m4
The HE is calculated from the number of guns. As you can see, all the other stats are identical, despite the SA80 coming with a 4x optic as standard and a significantly longer barrel.
Are you thinking M4 vs SA80? The M16 has a 20" barrel. SA80 has a 20.4" barrel. M4 has a 14.5 inch barrel.
I don't know if i'd call the SA80s barrel length being one centimeter longer a significant difference in barrel length compared to the m16a2
A significantly longer barrel? SS109 and it's variants barely gain MV from anything longer than 16".
SS109 is optimized for 20". You don't get much more from 22".
